Plex Earth is just too magnificent, it provides design engineers/planners the necessary data to aid engineering drawings and design without having to be on the field. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** Well, I will say the limitations on the (500)tiles per mosaic, but then I fully understand having too heavy mosaic will definitely freeze any Cad platform anyone uses. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's saves plenty of time and extra cost of surveying, it's is accurate as you being on the field taking data, it may in some cases reduce manpower hiring in terms of going to the feild, you can get all by a click. ### 3. The customer service is always fast to respond and very helpful. Each new version gets better, unlike some other software out there. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** When exporting certain blocks to kml, the resulting GoogleEarth feature is broken into multiple features (3-Image Overlays & 2-paths). So exporting certain blocks could be cleaner. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** It easily converts AutoCAD drawings into kmls, which can be easily viewed and edited by multiple teams across the organization. It also allows for background images to be used in map sets so our field teams have visual reference points. ### 5. There is no other tool online, providing that kind of service. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** Personally I believe Plex Earth is an extremely handy tool as it is already. Apart from that, I think there could be some development in the categorization of the satellite data. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** Plex Earth allowed me to create a topographic map of an urban area from scratch. Without this map I wouldn't have been able to proceed with my project on this specific site. ### 6. You can adjust the resolution and imagery source to whatever works best for your situation. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** I really can't think of anything to not like about Plex-Earth. They are constantly making the program better and easier to use. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** It gives us a way to show the landscape and features of areas where construction will be taking place as a background to our plats and alignment sheets. This is so much better than just a black and white drawing with just linework. ### 7. However, this may be a bit more flexible for educational and research purposes. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** When approaching a site, creating hi-res aerial imagery and topographic information is crucial for the design process. Plex Earth delivers a great kickstart in that sense without effort. It is also starting to incorporate drone services and data in the platform, which may open new gates in obtaining useful spatial information. ### 8. Road projects Design. It is also beneficial to have digital terrain models that are more or less accurate. It is easy to create alternative solutions for presentations. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** It is not compatible with older versions of Autocad. Moreover i found very helpful videos in YouTube. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** As i am not engineer, but student of interior architecture, I didn't find anything bothering me when using the software. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** Plex earth gives you great and accurate relief of a building blocks and is particularly helpful even if you don't have a topographic plan at all. ### 10. They let us know that we could upgrade our license to the latest version with all the perks, and since it was the same price as our current license, the whole thing was free! The transition was made within 24 hours! Very pleased. **What do you dislike about Plex-Earth?** Our license page only displays computer names--it would be helpful if we could see client usernames instead. Also, they only allow a limited number of deactivations before we had to call and request more. Coordinate system BGS2005(BGS2005). In 2022, I sent your colleagues data about this system (the Ordinance on entry into force in Bulgaria and instructions on how to recalculate from the 1970 system to the BGS2005 system and there was no result.) And they promised that they would include it in the next edition. **What problems is Plex-Earth solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am a road designer, I transfer linear objects from AutoCAD to Google Earth and vice versa. I also take a terrain surface from Google Earth and transfer it to Civil 3D. ### 15.
