Planner 5D Reviews & Product Details

I find Planner 5D really easy to use for teaching, for both students and professors. I don’t need to download anything or have a powerful computer; with internet access, I can design on a tablet, phone, or computer. I can use thousands of 3D models in my floor plans and designs. I also like that it’s portable, so I can access my designs anywhere with my account and internet. The renders look professional and have great quality. The rendering settings feel balanced—not too complicated or too simple—and I like being able to adjust the ceiling illumination, time of day, and sun position to create a mood and share what I want to show through my design. The initial setup was really easy too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish Planner 5D had more background options for outdoor areas in my designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve been using Planner 5D for about six months, and it’s been a genuinely useful tool for planning and visualizing my home designs. The interface is straightforward and easy to pick up, and the wide selection of furniture and design options makes it enjoyable to try out different ideas and see how they might look together. The only downside is that the furniture selection feels a bit limited, so having more options would make it even better. Still, it’s a solid tool and works well for basic planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Planner 5D incredibly useful for visualizing interiors like paint, layout, and other details before committing to them. It's realistic and lets me experiment with different ideas without the consequences of real-world changes, as I can easily undo or redo designs if they seem off. I really appreciate how easy it is to use, which is a major plus. The furniture feature is essential for me, as it helps me plan how to fill up my space effectively. Additionally, the import plan option is fantastic, making the initial setup very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's no premium version available in India because they don't support the cards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Planner 5D for projects at work, and I find it very easy to make changes as requested by the project manager. I like all the options available to make the design as close as possible to what is required. The best feature for me is the 3D model upload, which allows me to get the exact items that are requested by the project manager. Setting it up was easy, and having the professional subscription made it a lot easier. I'm so satisfied with it that I'd give it a 10 on a recommendation scale. Could have done with more lighting options, it has been a while since I did my last project so this may have already changed and more options have been added. At the time I could have done with a LED strip option to go around a photo, for example, but the LED strips only really worked horizontally and not so much vertically. I like using Planner 5D because I can do projects and check the final situation. I appreciate the ability to import things and textures, allowing me to see my favorite items from real storage. This feature provides me with a full view of the situation, giving me a clearer perspective when designing my house. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have a weak computer, so I need a simple version of Planner 5D for simple projects without needing a super powerful computer. Sometimes the setup is annoying, especially when building walls. Also, other products like HomeByMe or Picock are cheaper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the versatility of Planner 5D and all the tools it offers. It's easy to understand and has an intuitive way that helps me as an architect to develop projects more easily. The tools seem very good to me and allow me to solve all my needs, such as creating floor plans and 3D visualizations, as well as helping me with interior design, mood boards, 360 tours, and converting plans with artificial intelligence. I think developing the plans for AutoCAD could be a bit easier to use. The way of importing the plans could also be more advanced to generate the plans more easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Planner 5D helps me design buildings and renovations really well and easily. It helps me visualize things, edit walls, and understand the layout down to the square foot. I appreciate having both a mobile app and a desktop version because it makes the whole experience much easier and fits my needs. The variety of different elements is really great, and it helps me better visualize the style of the space I'm working on. Being able to start design on mobile and switch to desktop while adding design elements enables me to get a feel of the space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use but professional looking. Lots of elements to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They change what elements are free during app updates so after updating you can't edit your previous projects anymore because some elements are put into premium already. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Planning interior layouts and customizing furniture dimensions to see what will fit in a room is very helpful to do virtually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Uploading my own floor plan did not fully work, several interpretations of walls and rooms were incorrect. For the most part I could adjust them (dimensions of rooms) but the accuracy of the floor plan is very important and not fully refined tool to upload an apartment floor plan I got from property manager.
