What do you like best about Place?

The invoicing is much more efficient for our team having Place integrated with Salesforce. Place integration was a long process but the team assisted in every step along the way and continue to be availalbe as needed, finding solutions for problems that arise. What do you dislike about Place?

Like many tools integrated with Salesforce, there are limitations and the need for customization takes time. There's been an increase in education, but it's not always easy to understand how the system works on the back end. I don't always know if an automation or validation rule will cause a problem with Place functionality. On the upside, the CS team is always willing to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best platform to move forecasting out of Excel spreadsheets"

What do you like best about Place?

Financials are integrated into my company's Quickbooks Online software. I can click a transaction on PlaceCPM and it will direct me to the source entry in Quickbooks. That makes it easier to make adjustments and do financial analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Place?

It will take some time to learn the in and out of this platform. Also, it lacks the cashflow presentation that accountants are used to seeing. I would love to see forecasted cash generated from operations, investing and financing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Place:

The barebone structure of PlaceCPM should be enough for most small to mid-size businesses but a more complex financial structure would require customization, which the guys at PlaceCPM are ready to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Place solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest is being able to move out of spreadsheets and avoid the inconsistencies in formulas present in that format. PlaceCPM does the heavy lifting in distributing the income, expense and related cash movements into different months based on client and vendor payment setup. What do you like best about Place?

What do you like best about Place?

I wanted to have a single place to login to run my business. We use salesforce and have always been tying to find the way to integrate our quickbooks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Place?

I would like to see a little bit more customization on the reporting for the user. I would like the ability to pick and choose which GL accounts show up on cash flow reporting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Place:

If you are looking for a way to integrate your QB data into salesforce this is the place to go. I have looked at other integrations and have not been able to find anything that will give and predictive analysis like cash flow forecasting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Place?

PlaceCPM really allows users to marry up their Salesforce data with accounting data to users a ver unique/insightful view of how a business is performing. I also really like how it allows us to forecast employees, manage their subscriptions and see the financial impact of these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Place?

It can sometimes be a bit clunky with a lot of new objects and it can take a little while to get your head around. There needs to be work done on a knowledge base so that users can quickly reference how to fix errors and troubleshoot themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
