"PingPlotter for Proof"
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

I enjoyed using PingPlotter as I have been in a multiple month battle with my ISP who claims that my internet connection has no problems. I was able to use PingPlotter and so them proof that my internet was having issues thus making them actually take a look instead of blaming my hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

Nothing, it worked pretty great for me. A small learning curve but not much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PingPlotter For a Satellite Connection"
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

The great feature of PingPlotter is the ability to see the hops from sorce to server, on a Satellite connection being able to see the amount of latency which is there becomes useful in diagnosing problems. Packets dropped by a particular Hop is also a good insight into what is going down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

I would like to see a greater ability to alert me when a duration or frequency of packet loss occurs, either weather or useage of the signal compromises my connection and pinpointing when is useful for talking to my provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Supervisor of links with extended ping"
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

PingPlotter emerges as monitoring software for our company since we do not have a tool that would at least give us exact samples of the affected links that we have in our main office. PingPlotter is the most traditional tool that we have managed, thanks to the summation of links such as the internet and links of virtual private networks we have a more specific control, this helps us to have a history of 60 seconds up to 7 days as maximum verification of the status of the supervised link. Additional you can verify this link in intervals of time of seconds to maximum 1 hour, to check the frequency of monitoring Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

Despite the few functions such as monitoring software is a very important tool to ensure that our links and the quality of service to the company remain without problem Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Pinplotter experience."
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

Pingplotter is a tool that helps us to manage the states of data links. 'Pingplotter works adding the IP address that we want to monitor to have the graphs of the states, in our company we manage a large group of cleintes that have dedicated data links and I need a software to have a monitor to know the states of the links, for This pingplotter task is a tool that helps me to be aware of data links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

One of the weaknesses of Pingplotter is that it does not provide more information of the equipment, also when we have the software installed in windows server, it has failures, stopping services, this failure does not happen when it is detected in a Linux operating system, the program runs without problem and does not cause conflicts at the beginning. "PingPlotter Pro is an excellent tool for tracking and isolating network issues"
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

The tool has an easy to use interface and I can see all PING sessions at once. This allows me to trace all along the path to the provider or to the system with an issue and validate there is no loss or issue on the network. if there is it provides details of where the issue is occurring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

It is a little expensive for what it does but it does do it very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Latency viewer and lost packets of a link."
What do you like best about PingPlotter?

PingPlotter is a great visual tool that shows graphically the latency and lost packet that has had a link (data or Internet). Not only shows the above indicated but also shows the jumps or trace made from the server to its destination observing at each point the milliseconds that it takes to send and receive the response as latency.

This monitoring software helps in seeing what problem a network device has, by simply indicating the IP address or the DNS name, it sends ICMP packets from the interface that is configured for that reason and in less than 1 minute an interface is generated where You can see latency by colors (green, yellow and red), packet loss represented by red lines, milliseconds of jittler. If there is latency or packet loss in any device within your network means that you have a problem in the middle (wired) or there is a saturation in your trunk link.

The tool is light, easy to install and configure. It offers alarms that you can customize when a link falls or rises, in addition to recording such falls in a plain text file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PingPlotter?

As for its operation is exceptional however I do not find much documentation of the alarms and their parameters, or rather if there is documentation but not examples... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
