"Incredible experience to track your projects"
5/5
What do you like best about PhpStorm?

With the time working with PhpStorm it helped me to track my projects more easily. One of the best things about it is the ease to navigate through functions and wiht one of the latest versions of the program understand more easily what is what in the parameters of a function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

One minor thing I would like to be integrated by default and not through different settings is to reopen a closed tab as a browser does ctrl/cmmd + Shift + T, it would be super helpful to do that when a file is closed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

We faced some issues such as: slow performance compared to some IDEs, very costly especially for startup developers, and this point should be reviewed. Need to clarify usage for the first time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent PHP IDE with fair pricing model"
5/5
What do you like best about PhpStorm?

Most of our stack has migrated from PHP to a JavaScript-based codebase, so we switched to Webstorm and only need to use PhpStorm occasionally. The fair pricing model JetBrains offers with PhpStorm means, that we can still keep using our fallback license without being stuck in an infinite recurring pricing scheme. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

Like other JetBrains IDEs PhpStorm too can be very taxing on system resources. Starting up the application can be slow and once your machine runs out of available memory the IDE will become slow to respond. To make only small changes to a single file one might be better served using a more light-weight code editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"PhpStorm: the essential IDE for PHP developers"
4/5
What do you like best about PhpStorm?

PhpStorm is a high-quality IDE for PHP application development. It offers a wide range of features and useful tools, such as debugging, refactoring, code autocompletion, and support for multiple languages. Additionally, it integrates with many popular PHP frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, WordPress, Drupal, among others.

What I like most about PhpStorm is its ability to enhance developer productivity. The code template functions and context-based code completion are excellent for saving time and reducing errors in code writing. Moreover, the ability to handle large projects without sacrificing performance or stability is impressive.

In summary, I highly recommend PhpStorm to any PHP developer looking for a solid IDE with advanced features that boosts productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

Although PhpStorm is a popular IDE among PHP developers, it may not be suitable for everyone. The learning curve can be steep, especially for those who are not familiar with the advanced features of an IDE.

Additionally, the license price can be a barrier for some developers, especially those working on small or personal projects. Although PhpStorm offers a free trial version, it may be insufficient to fully evaluate the tool.

Another potential issue with PhpStorm is that it consumes a lot of system resources, which can slow down the performance of the machine on which it is being used. There may also be compatibility issues with older operating systems or older hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best PHP code Editor and IDE"
5/5
What do you like best about PhpStorm?

PHPStorm is the best IDE providing each and every function and feature required to development. Code autocompletions, syntax checking, server connection, db connection everything can be managed from a single UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

PHPstorm provides a lot of features that's why it becomes too heavy and is not compatible with the systems with less configuarations. Otherwise I don't think I found anything else that I don't like in storm Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
