"Best IDE I've used"

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

After trying a few other software for development and coding, I found PHPStorm to be the best one so far. It has everything I require contained within it to make development work smooth and efficient with built-in FTP, database connections, and GIT among other features. What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

As the software has grown and been updated over the years, it does use a lot more memory than it used to, which can sometimes be a downside when you need to run multiple things on your computer without everything lagging/freezing up for a few moments. Syntax highlighting can sometimes take a few minutes to update after making changes, which can be annoying when you want to be sure things are right quickly at a glance. What do you like best about PhpStorm?

PHPStorm provides all awesome plugins specially designed for PHP. We can add plugins and also extend it to with 3rd party plugins very easily. It provides an auto-complete code feature and shows errors at compile time itself, so we can fix the errors immediately there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

Being a software developer, I would say this is the best IDE I have used so far. It comes with a complete package such as a terminal, plugins, themes, git integration etc. Buy a license and multiple users can use the activation code making it a convenient and one-time investment. Working on PHP and VUE JS projects is so much more efficient using PhpStorm. Compare with Clipboard is a very unique and helpful feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

Pricing is high! Bought one year license for 199$. I think it should be made a lot less so that students and organizations can invest in it. Experienced lag sometimes while coding, takes time to render the code. It consumes a lot of memory and battery drainage is fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PhpStorm solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using PhpStorm to work on PHP and VUE JS projects and the experience is smooth. We can get different plugins easily which makes coding so much better and more fun. Different themes features are very useful in light and dark surroundings. Buy one license and multiple users can use it for web development. What do you like best about PhpStorm?

Got a complete set of tools in this software. Auto-completion and hints were the most helpful features while learning to code. What do you like best about PhpStorm?

It has a very much optimized auto-complete feature that works according to your behavior.

It allows you to directly run SQL commands directly from PHPStorm instead of using any other client.

It does not offer a very large number of plugins and the ones which it offers are also not that good therefore you need to add external plugins.

It is a bit complicated to start the source code debugging.

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

The huge amount of features that accelerate my developement speed. Code analysis, auto-completion, coding hints and the quick navigation functions are those that I use the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

The only downside is that it's not free and there's a bit of delay when while opening a project, during which PHPStorm creates an index, which can sometimes be slow, especially with huge projects like Magento, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
