What I really love about phpMyAdmin is that it has a great user interface. Everything is clear. You can execute/test queries before going live/production. PhpMyAdmin allows saving a great amount of data. And it works great with other CMS such as WordPress. phpMyAdmin is also very secure. You just need to worry about how to write your SQL code. I wish it could have some schema visualization. PHPMyAdmin could be complete if you could draw some diagram. Then, export those diagrams and share with your team. I like that phpMyAdmin has an easy UI that allows you to check your websites databases without knowing SQL, this makes it easy to write programs and see the tables of information without having to input SQL. It is very easy to install and manage, the professionals in the database sector, the vast majority say that phpMyAdmin is rubbish, I think quite the opposite, it has a community of developers behind it that inspires confidence, it is always updated and by default with "Xampp".
