What do you like best about Perso Dubbing?

I like how Perso Dubbing is cost-effective and lets me upload and dub longer videos, even those over twenty minutes. It's simple and easy to use, which is a big plus for me. I really appreciate how the sound is similar to my own voice, which I think is really important. The initial setup was very simple and spot on, making it easy to get started right away. I think maybe they can make the price a little bit cheaper. Although the first month is kind of at 50%, which was good, a lower price would help me continue to use it. Also, it might be helpful if they let you upload your own voice for cloning, even though they already do some of this. Also, its takesa bit longer to render/dub the video. Reliable rendering under heavy workloads only shows up when it fails, so hearing it holds up for production is meaningful.

On wanting more advanced voice emotion controls, there's an audio tag feature that may help. You can insert instructions in square brackets, for example [warm and dramatic tone] or [whispered like ASMR], and the voice adjusts. Because it's beta, results vary by source video, so worth trying. If it isn't matching what you had in mind, the chatbot at the bottom of the platform is there. Sound effect templates are noted as a direction we're thinking about.

The setup process was extremely straightforward, making it accessible to anyone. It's unfortunate that you can't choose the tone or speech atmosphere in AI dubbing, and you can't cancel tasks as desired. The inability to know the remaining credits when using credits, and the issue of credits appearing to be deducted during slow tasks, also need improvement. When there is music in the video, it is disappointing that the translation and dubbing are not done in tune and rhythm. On translations sliding toward Portuguese (Portugal) instead of Portuguese (Brazil) for your audience, we've recently added around 40 new languages, and Portuguese now splits between Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal) as separate options. You can select Portuguese (Brazil) directly instead of relying on manual correction.

The recently added glossary feature can also help: you can register Portuguese (Brazil) expressions and brand terms in advance (CSV or Excel, Original_Term and Target_Term columns), and the translation will adhere to those exact terms.
