"Comet: Fast, Free Agentic AI Browser with a Solid macOS UI"
What do you like best about Comet?

Comet was one of the first of its kind. The idea of an agentic AI browser sounds great on paper, and at the start it really was that good. The UI on macOS is definitely solid, and it feels like a fast agentic browser that’s available for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

The UI on phone. It really is so bad thar I can't understand anything in there, it also has an issue that after constant use the ai felt a lot less powerful than it used to be Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Favorite Browser: Built-In AI Assistant That Boosts Productivity"
What do you like best about Comet?

I love the built-in browser AI assistant, which can run autonomous tasks and make my work more efficient. Comet works alongside my Perplexity login and is available on desktop and Android, with iOS coming soon. I signed up on the iOS App Store to be notified when it launches. I’ve used Comet to help with spreadsheets, run searches, and support building my website, among other things—it’s a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

Comet runs on the Chromium engine, so you can use Chrome extensions with it. The biggest downside for me is the credit limitation: if you use it a lot, it will let you know. The settings take a little time to get used to, but once you do, it’s easily my favorite browser by far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comet, Perplexity, browser on steroids!"
What do you like best about Comet?

Comet has truly transformed the way I work, browse, and conduct research. It’s by far the most adaptable browser assistant I’ve encountered. I rely on it daily for a wide range of tasks, from in-depth business research and market analysis to shopping, reading reviews, and comparing product specifications. It even played a role in helping me choose my most recent phone.

One of the standout features is how seamlessly it operates across all my devices. Using Comet on my phone feels just as robust and capable as on my desktop. The assisted browser mode delivers the information I need instantly, without unnecessary steps. This kind of immediate access helps me stay ahead.

It’s also incredibly user-friendly. Multitasking is effortless and stress-free. Whether I’m looking into a product, organizing a project, or handling SEO work, Comet integrates smoothly into my workflow. It manages everything from quick fact-checks to more advanced tasks like batch processing. Plus, it interacts directly with live websites, emails, and documents to extract exactly what I need, saving me a significant amount of time.

Thanks to Perplexity, and the integration with other major AI tools like Claude Sonnet 4.5, GPT-5, Grok 4, and Gemini 2.5, I can explore the world of AI and run comparison tests with ease.

I’m grateful to have had early access, as I’ve watched Comet evolve and improve. It understands my needs and adapts to assist me, which is crucial when I require fast, accurate, and clear answers. By combining web search, memory, and real-time document tools, Comet is much more than a browser—it’s a comprehensive productivity solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

Honestly, I have very few complaints. The software offers a wide range of features, which means it takes some time to learn how to use everything effectively. However, this complexity is also what gives it so much power. If I could ask for one improvement, it would be for even better phone integration to make managing workflows while on the move easier. "An efficient AI-powered browser that speeds up research and browsing"
What do you like best about Comet?

What I like best about Comet is its seamless AI integration within the browsing experience. It makes searching faster by providing concise, relevant answers directly in the browser, which reduces the need to open multiple tabs and improves overall productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

As a newer browser, Comet still lacks some advanced features and customization options found in more mature browsers. Extension support is limited, and there can be occasional performance inconsistencies depending on the type of query or workload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Step-by-Step Learning Reinforced with Smart Suggestions"
What do you like best about Comet?

I appreciate how the platform allows you to study in a step-by-step, procedural manner while also providing an overview and helpful suggestions to deepen your understanding. It reinforces your learning by actively questioning your comprehension, ensuring that you truly grasp the material. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

Yes, it does have a unique structure. However, even on the free tier, there is room for improvement, similar to what you find with Edge or Chrome. Still, it maintains an advantage thanks to its underlying AI engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Speeds Up Daily Tasks with Impressive Efficiency"
What do you like best about Comet?

It speeds up a lot of activities that I normally perform from a broswer like searching information in web pages and videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

I don't dislike anything in particular, I guess it's still new so it needs to be polished, sometimes the interface is slow or not responsive but is minimal bugs on an otherwise solid product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Handy browser assistant that handles multi-step web tasks for me"
What do you like best about Comet?

The browser automation feature has truly transformed my workflow. With Comet, I can delegate complex tasks such as filling out forms, navigating through websites, and extracting data—tasks that would otherwise take me a significant amount of time to complete by hand. I am especially impressed by how well it manages multi-step processes, like conducting research across several tabs and then compiling the findings. The integration with Perplexity's search also adds a lot of value, allowing me to find accurate information efficiently without needing to switch between different tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

At times, the software can be somewhat slow when processing complex pages filled with dynamic content. Additionally, I would appreciate improved support for handling CAPTCHAs. Whenever I encounter one, I have to solve it manually, which interrupts the automation process. It would be helpful to have a notification or pause feature to better manage these situations. "Perplexity Browser (Comet) Review"
What do you like best about Comet?

Honestly the best Web Browser I've used thus far, faster than chrome, and integratable with it, while giving you the best part, a fully AI powered browser, that has deep-research capabilities and also works as an assistant, that can schedule meetings, control your screen, do reports on CRMs for example, and browse different tabs to get context and comprehensive understanding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

It doesn't seem to know how to send Emails properly, always doesn't put a recipient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Search Results Make Research Effortless"
What do you like best about Comet?

Receiving aggregated search results in a Perplexity AI report is quite useful. It allows me to see a comprehensive overview of information gathered from various sources, making it easier to understand the topic at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Comet?

This browser still has some evolving to do as an AI browser before it could be widely accepted, similar to how Google is used as a search engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
