PerformYard is easy to use and the UI is clean, so it doesn’t take much training to get started. I especially like how clearly it shows performance goals that are set by my manager, along with progress and expectations in one place. The workflows feel structured (goals → check-ins/reviews → feedback), which helps keep performance conversations consistent and reduces back‑and‑forth in emails. It also makes it easier to stay organized during review cycles because everything is documented and easy to find later.

What do you like best about PerformYard Performance Management?

Our organization recently switched to PerformYard for self-evaluations and direct-report performance reviews, and the transition has been seamless. The platform is easy to use—intuitive and efficient. As a first-time user, I’ve especially appreciated how straightforward everything feels, and I can’t say enough about how much I’m enjoying the side-by-side view feature. It makes it incredibly easy to reference my supervisees’ reviews while completing my own and when meeting with them, which helps the review sessions feel more organic and less time-consuming.

I’m looking forward to learning more as we continue to dive deeper into using PerformYard as a resource to improve our workflow. I am already wowed by the option to use the AI-powered REPHRASE button, which helps make my writing clearer and more succinct. Even without the straightforward training we received from PerformYard, I would have felt confident using this very intuitive platform.

I am overjoyed to have completed evaluations without the glitches of the previous system. I had no issues and did not relive the nightmare of work not being saved, having to copy/paste into documents to ensure I could pick up where I left off, and not being able to advance from one screen to the next with no explanation. This has already been, and I suspect will continue to be, a game-changer for our organization.

What do you dislike about PerformYard Performance Management?

I am a first-time user, so I don't have much feedback here, but one thing I noticed is that my direct report can't view the review unless ALL signers have done so. It is very helpful to have a dashboard where I can see everything that is going on. The onboarding process to learn to use the platform is straightforward, very clear.
