What do you like best about Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)?

I have just started using the PMM Tool (for the last 2 Months). Excellent with real-time monitoring of ALL DBs under one place, also monitor OS statistics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)?

Nothing as of now. Highly awaiting for version that include xtrabackup included in PMM. also Please implement xtrabackup daily email alerts after completing backup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization utilizes a Tungsten multi-active active cluster, comprising over 10 clusters and 30+ active MySQL databases. Manually managing such a complex environment is a daunting task; however, Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) simplifies this process by providing a centralized dashboard for comprehensive monitoring of all MySQL database instances. "Representation for db, optimization, provide clues for db debug errors"

What do you like best about Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)?

Query analysis part which help us a lot to know cost of the Query and inndb buffer pool graph,db replication status, temp table uses , parallel select query performance ,best part is graphical representation for uses of IO threads on server .

this all makes a good mixture for MySQL DBA it makes my job easier to manage each and every instance manually i get lot of things at same point

We are Monitoring more than 26 instance ,i can compare each and every instance on sever level , configuration level. Which are one of the best part for us . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM)?

Till now i did not face any down side for PMM. But in query analysis part there should be a section user,host info like from which it's coming somthing we are not able to identify.

What problems is Percona Monitoring and Management (PMM) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Based on the PMM graph Database monitoring is become very easy, based on the graph metrics we can able to identify the issue not current but proactively, so future issues can be avoided based on timeseriase trends. the good part of PMM is PMM Query Analytics which gives the near real idea about the slow query, and table scan query metrics. so based on that we can fix the slow log query. and lot more. Percona PMM is free and utilizes open source solutions to implement state-of-the-art monitoring and alerting solutions for your entire database infrastructure and applications. It can be clumsy sometimes, and dashboard navigation is complex and not intuitive. In addition, the reading graph is hard and can be confusing sometimes. It has its own learning curve, and user needs time to get used to the dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
