Having used the product for employee planning, this reviewer finds the main dashboard and reporting features effective. Organizing shifts and managing schedule changes remains a challenge.

A few best things I would mention here are the following:
- Time off requests. Every employee reporting to you can send a request for a time off, with a reason or document attached to it and you can approve or reject and provide a comment as well.
- Shift Planning. You can easily add the schedule for a team member for an entire month and adjust it after if needed.
- Clock in and out. Every employee can log in to PeopleQlik and they can clock in at the start of the shift and clock out when they're done with their work. Each manager can pull a report that shows the team's attendance within a period of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about PeopleQlik is that I can only have a pre-set schedule.

Before switching to PeopleQlik, we were using a much more difficult admin for clocking in/out. With PeopleQlik, it's a one-button click. On the other side, you have complete info regarding the team and structure, and what employee reports to whom. Requesting a day off or vacation leave is pretty simple with a drag-and-drop feature to select the dates. It also helps keep you up to date regarding your compensation and what leave days are left available. It also shows you the compensation of your salary as well as any other extras for commission, alongside the self-paying system, with direct deposits and pre-tax approval. Employees can send in requests at any time, including the filing of W-2. Overall, I would recommend this tool to every company! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike regarding PeopleQlik is the shift setup. There are people coming in to work early and some employees stay after work. You are not able to clock in earlier than your scheduled 8-hour shift. Also, even though you are clocked in, it automatically clocks you out after 8 hours, not being able to track the proper time with this. Of course, there can be scheduled earlier clock-ins but not as really needed. This should be improved on! Also, not at all times did the automatic calculation do the right job. Accessbility - the software itself limits unnecessary communications and has an abundance of tools to choose from. We use it to book vacations, days off, emergency days and it's a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's got a long way to go. Some requests seem like an overly drawn-out process that can be simplified. And it might be nice that they remove features that companies might not use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like best is the ease that has been created on managing the employee leave days, which prior we would run via emails and manual tracking but PeopleQlik has fixed that for our org. The plan was that we use PeopleQlik for payroll as well, but it is taking too long until implemented due to specific needs that our company has! I do like the fact that most of the options you would search for are easily accessible. The design is tailored to worker's needs and most of what used to be an email request can be achieved directly from the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downsides are occasional unexplained freezing of the website, the timeout log out option might be useful for some but constantly logging back in gets too annoying after a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
