I find PDF Candy particularly useful for filling out PDF forms that do not have delineated fields, and for combining multiple PDFs into one document. It's easier to deal with documents that way, especially since it covers such a range of PDF manipulation tasks, like converting files to various formats and merging them. The licensing is deceptive. I purchased a PDF Candy PRO Lifetime license, but when I tried to use it again after a while, the program asked for my keys again. When I entered them, it said they were no longer valid, and I had to buy another "Lifetime" license. This makes the "Lifetime" part of the license misleading. We purchased a PDF Candy Desktop PRO license advertised as lifetime.

As an IT company, we regularly replace hardware and migrate to Windows 11. In this context, it is perfectly normal that a license may need to be reactivated on a new machine.

However, Icecream Apps only allows two reactivations in total. After that, your “lifetime” license is locked — regardless of whether you still use just one computer.

Their support is inflexible and condescending:

They treat normal hardware replacement as a license violation.

They demand “explanations” instead of simply helping a paying customer.

The result: a so-called lifetime license that becomes worthless after two PC changes.

For a product marketed as “PRO”, this policy is extremely disappointing.

⚠️ Avoid if you ever plan to replace your computer more than twice — your license will no longer work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We bought a lifetime PRO license, but it only allows two reactivations. After that, the license is useless — even if you just replace your PC.

Support was rigid and condescending, treating normal hardware replacement as a violation.

Result: a “lifetime” license that in practice lasts only until your second computer change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much to say here, they are weak in support, and they do not care at all about satisfaction Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer service does not honor product guarantee's I wanted a refudn after 1 hour of using the product and realized it would not do as we wanted. So we promptly requested a refund. They basically told us to go pound sand. Stay AWAY from this company. We lost $150 bucks for useless software (for our needs) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is easy to use and increased my productivity Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The web-based version can't handle very large files. You need to download it to the desk top in order to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very little. Besides being able to mildly edit a pdf (only on the browser) it is beyond useless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Incompatible with Mac. Unable to automatically open PDF's. Rendering the software dead in the water in terms of the actual day-to-day use or multiple file usage. You may as well take the full hit and pay for Adobe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The tool itself is great. However, it is somewhat expensive for daily use. I have a lot of document work daily. And sometimes all the documents gets mixed up in PDF Candy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PDF candy is easy to use and has an ingenious user interface. It helps us to create, edit and manage PDF files at one place. With it's a wide compilation of tools, we can easily perform a variety of functions like merging, editing, compressing, etc. it also helps us to effortlessly manage our pdf files by providing a bunch of tools like rearranging or locking up PDFs. It's user-friendly interface helps in saving a lot of time while wielding its peculiarities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They should try sorting and categorising their tools more precisely. moreover, there is nothing negative to be said about it. It is a one-stop solution for every PDF related problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is quite practical and above all very simple to execute. It only takes a few clicks for you to convert a file to PDF and vice versa. It maintains consistency in the data contained within the files and the resulting transformation has little or no modification. Anyone can use it with ease Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With very large files containing large images the process can be very slow. But this happens rarely Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all the UI looks really great, we can access any tools from the main menu which is really great makes it easier to use. and most tools I use it daily like merge, edit, and compress pdf are there with a lot of other useful tools like the image to pdf and rearrange of pdf pages, watermarking, unlock and lock pdf and more. And one thing I really liked is the search tool on the top right corner, which helps me to find the tools easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the tools are in there, we can choose from a variety of tools, but they are not really categorized, so I always have to look for the tools in that big menu, or I have to do a search. And when I try to edit a pdf file, I couldn't find any tools to draw over the pdf file like a pencil, the only tools I found are adding text and highlighting the area of the pdf file. I have nothing negative to say about this website, what I like and I'm interested in, I get it here, among one of its biggest and most useful operations on the website is to place a password on our PDF files allowing us to protect and that you can only access the information the person with the password. We can also remove a page from any PDF file, compress its size, separate a document into several PDFs. all these options without any need to create an account or pay a membership since it is free software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
