We purchased a PDF Candy Desktop PRO license advertised as lifetime.

As an IT company, we regularly replace hardware and migrate to Windows 11. In this context, it is perfectly normal that a license may need to be reactivated on a new machine.

However, Icecream Apps only allows two reactivations in total. After that, your “lifetime” license is locked — regardless of whether you still use just one computer.

Their support is inflexible and condescending:

They treat normal hardware replacement as a license violation.

They demand “explanations” instead of simply helping a paying customer.

The result: a so-called lifetime license that becomes worthless after two PC changes.

For a product marketed as “PRO”, this policy is extremely disappointing.

Customer service does not honor product guarantee's I wanted a refudn after 1 hour of using the product and realized it would not do as we wanted. So we promptly requested a refund. First of all the UI looks really great, we can access any tools from the main menu which is really great makes it easier to use. and most tools I use it daily like merge, edit, and compress pdf are there with a lot of other useful tools like the image to pdf and rearrange of pdf pages, watermarking, unlock and lock pdf and more. All the tools are in there , we can choose from a variety of tools, but they are not really categorized, so I always have to look for the tools in that big menu, or I have to do a search. And when I try to edit a pdf file, I couldn't find any tools to draw over the pdf file like a pencil, the only tools I found are adding text and highlighting the area of the pdf file Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a very good website, I really recommend it because, in my opinion, it seems to be very complete, it shows us a friendly interface and very easy to guide yourself where we will have the multiple conversion options, among the great variety of operations on the website. We can compress PDF files, convert PDF files to other formats like, in Word or convert Word files to PDF files and more. its easy handling when loading the document is very simple and shows you a preview of the tool and its conversion. I have nothing negative to say about this website, what I like and I'm interested in, I get it here, among one of its biggest and most useful operations on the website is to place a password on our PDF files allowing us to protect and that you can only access the information the person with the password. We can also remove a page from any PDF file, compress its size, separate a document into several PDFs. all these options without any need to create an account or pay a membership since it is free software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we do different types of conversions in various document formats that we mainly use in our office departments, we always have a big and cumbersome drawback. Our documents generally have incompatibility with other Office programs or the information stored in them generally moves.
