## CyberFOX Password Manager Reviews
  ### 1. By far the best password keeper out there!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacquelyn L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2023

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

I love that Password Boss does what it says. My information is safe, and sharing is super simple. It's an amazing bonus that it works seamlessly on all my other devices. Thank you!

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

The only thing that can be challenging is when the program logs out in the middle of my work day or when I am in the middle of something. I sometimes have to quit the program first and then sign in again for it to work. Not a big issue, but still a kink.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily save my passwords and other important info as well as share what I need to with the confidence that it will be safe and simple to use. I also love that It saves me a ton of time having to remember all the things, as well as the headaches of not being able to access my account.

  ### 2. Black hole for data you never want again, use only if you want to stress test your life or business

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon K B. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

The ideas our sound (somewhat elementary in design) but creative. Too bad execution is a complete failure.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

The software flat out doesn't work. Everything it sets out to do at it's core is a failure.

Software crases constantly on every computer, every OS, every mobile device, every browser plugin - it's NOT a conflict with AV, stop blaming that.

Store credentials - they have bugs that roll back or wipe your data constantly. This wasnt once or twice, but dozens of times over the course of about 18 months. Every time they had another excuse. This is the heart of the product!

Share credentials - the sync is atrocious, not all fields sync properly. Because shares are by person and not company, only the creator of a share owns the data. The idea that any individual employee can "hold and hold hostage" company owned credentials is insane. Then for anyone else to add items to a shared folder takes 20 steps.

Logs and Backups are hugely lacking, often dont work. When one day your data goes missing their team will make every effort to blame everyone but themselves. Only after painstaking troubleshooting will they own up to "a bug" that accidentally wiped all of your data.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving - NOTHING. Creating, tons. We used PB to create complex passwords and continually roate so at any given time passwords were long complex randomized and unique..... then their software crashes, doesnt share properly, rolls back/overwrites/purges data due to "bugs" and now we've got REAL problems that we need to solve. Thanks for nothing PB!

  ### 3. Password Boss works well.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lloyd W. | Senior Solutions Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2022

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

It offers up passwords when new ones are requested and remembers those that I need. It also remembers the websites URL and I can use it to get to my sites.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

It gets in the way and keeps turning itself back on over and over on a webpage I already closed it on.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

375 passwords to remember is daunting at best. This program is on my Cell, my pcs and tablets. Works well across all devices.

  ### 4. Great tool for MSPs to help clients securely manage their passwords

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve "Ziggy" S. | CEO, Founder and Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

It allows employees to separate their personal passwords from their business passwords.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

There are a few rough edges in the UI but it works very well.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to store my passwords in an encrypted partition. Its password security score helped us catch duplicate passwords used by one of our customer's employee.

  ### 5. Proprietary Tool for a Savvy Team

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared M. | Network Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

Because of the local/installed aspect of this tool, this thing is capable of some pretty amazing things in the realm of auto-fill and form detection.
Form detection in particular is really great, Google Chrome should take notice. Being able to fill in various details that sites typically ask for and have PasswordBoss fill those for you is really cool to see.
Paired with a password storage and auto-fill completion system that you've no doubt seen in many other products makes for an overall great product.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

Local software install. I'd say "dislike" is the perfect term. It's not the worst thing, but it does somehow feel very anti-zeitgeist. Everything is moving into the cloud these days.
Again its by no means a bad thing, the application seems to be well written and it allows the platform to do some things that other password tools will continue to struggle with.
The issue is in ease of use. This tool is rightly security-first, and as such it can be rather cumbersome to install and get users trained on. This is barely even a thought for other password management systems because they are all completely website based.
Overall it just makes for more management than other platforms and as such it may not be the right tool for your team depending on who you are selling to/who you have on staff.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PasswordBoss is stellar for small tech savvy teams who 'get it'.
Even larger teams can realize some very smooth password sharing.
By far the most amazing feature is the built-in MFA capability which effectively lets you share MFA tokens - quite the feat and VERY useful with all the major players beginning to follow Microsoft's lead in requiring it. Shared accounts can continue to be utilized with PasswordBoss and that is something that cannot necessarily be said for all accounts with other password management tools.

  ### 6. Nice Password Manager with Web/Mobile Applets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Disabled Tech Blogger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2016

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

In the days of needing two-factor authentication, with unique passwords, per site, you need a password manager. Password manager provider, Password Boss comes to rescue. What I like best (based upon using the Premium version) is the ability to access my passwords securely stored on all of my computers (desktop, laptop,) and mobile devices alike (smartphone, and tablets). I have learned that storing passwords in my browser sets you up for a data breach issues and potential privacy concerns from nefarious parties that wan to track where you are on the Internet. Having a password manager helps me not have to login to each site every time, that offsets not saving my passwords into my browser.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

I dislike the necessity to have a second two-factor authentication program or applet, in addition to Password Boss. I have to either use Google Authentication or Authy to read my QR codes to generate random codes to work in tandem with site logins. I also have issues getting Password Boss to activate properly in how it handles auto-logins for sites. Lastly, it sometimes accidentally generates duplicates for site logins.

**Recommendations to others considering CyberFOX Password Manager:**

Nice password manger for basic free users and/or non-profit organizations, as they offer premium version account(s) for those companies, without charge. If you work for or have a non-profit firm, notify them, and if you qualify, based on their terms, you will get a nice password management system.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Password Boss to handle all of the logins that I use for both personal sites, as well as the blog sites and social media accounts that I interface with, in publishing my disabled gamer tech blog.

  ### 7. Great password manager and support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | IT Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2018

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

-When there are problems with the application, they are immediately looking remote to find a solution.
In addition, it can sometimes be that you miss a certain function within the package, you can indicate this and usually they add this function within a month, this is very customer friendly.

- Groups with users can be added to a share, which saves a lot of time.

- From the new version, other editors of a share can also add a password, this is a function that we are very pleased with.

- There is one central admin center where the users, group, and shares can be managed.
In addition, various security policies can also be used and reports and backups can be requested.
Finally, you can see all kinds of statistics from the users and shares.

- Within the application there is a secure browser in which you can safely browse and load all websites if you do not trust a certain network connection or browser.

- In the share center all shares are visible, here you can also see how much% is synchronized and which users are and are not synchronized.

- Very nice and time-saving application, great work!

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

The speed of the application can be slightly better.

**Recommendations to others considering CyberFOX Password Manager:**

They listen very well when new functions have to be added to the application.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All passwords and secure notes are available for all my colleagues in shared shares.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2018

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

We travel between different offices as well as working mobile, and wherever we go our team always has the latest passwords sync'd to their computers and phones. The interface is easy to use, and easy to find passwords. The new iPhone app is great, very modern design, easy to use. I especially like the integration with the iOS12 password manager that lets Password Boss log into all of my apps. Support has been great, we always get quick answers to our questions. It is easy to organize passwords with folders

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

Any password managers takes a little time to learn and to figure out how all of the features work. Password Boss does a good job at this, but this can always be improved

**Recommendations to others considering CyberFOX Password Manager:**

Any password managers takes a little time to learn and to figure out how all of the features work. Password Boss does a good job at this, but this can always be improved

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2018

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

Password Boss is a comprehensive password management/info management for the internet software. It has a clean user interface which is easy to use and manage. In addition to the auto fill option for user name and passwords through Password Boss, you can also add digital wallet (card details) to be saved and auto filled as well, also standard details which are inquired frequently on websites such name and address etc. You can create your own tags for ease of searching and viewing passwords as well which is convenient.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

While many things are good with Password Boss, one thing I dislike is that it does not generate passwords, unlike some other password management software. That is a drawback in which an auto generated strong password would have made the software quite good.

**Recommendations to others considering CyberFOX Password Manager:**

Quite a good software for managing/remembering passwords, Digital wallets and personal details. Clean user interface and easy to use.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage Passwords, Digital Wallet details (Credit and Debit Card details), Remember Names Address details, so that you won't forget them and you won't have to fill them out manually on websites.

  ### 15. Password Boss Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

The simplicity of the app really works for the required function. There is no need for too many bells and whistles, and this delivers. I also liked that they provide a trial period so that I could test out the app before putting money towards it.

**What do you dislike about CyberFOX Password Manager?**

It still hurts to pay for an app like this, but with dozens of passwords, it really is the smartest way to manage them.

**Recommendations to others considering CyberFOX Password Manager:**

It's worth it to try out the free trial version of the app. Give it a shot and go from there.

**What problems is CyberFOX Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily efficiency. With the constant changing and addition of passwords, the app has allowed me to free up some time (although just a small amount) and eliminate the frustration of having to submit emails to gain access to accounts.
