Paramify has been an incredible asset to our FedRAMP team. As a small group, we used to spend countless hours manually tracking POA&M items in spreadsheets, which was extremely time-consuming. With Paramify, vulnerability tracking has become so much easier—almost enjoyable. The platform allows us to ingest scans and automatically create vulnerabilities with minimal input required. Managing our SSPs is now effortless, too. We simply update our linked risk solutions or solution capabilities, and the platform generates the necessary documents for us. Their customer service is outstanding; whenever we encounter issues or have suggestions, they respond promptly and usually provide a solution to our team very quickly. I honestly don't see any significant downsides to using Paramify. If I had to mention one, it would be that the product is still relatively new, which means there are several aspects that are still a work in progress. However, I actually view this as a positive as well, since it gives my team the opportunity to be involved from the beginning and influence the development of the tool to better suit our needs, all while benefiting from the features the platform already offers. Paramify is easy to use and well structured, even for complex compliance programs. Implementation was straightforward, and the built-in frameworks and controls allowed us to move quickly without heavy customization. Automation and workflow design have materially improved efficiency and made it easier to operate at scale. Exports for SSPs and audit packages are clean, consistent, and well received by auditors. Support has been consistently high quality when questions or issues come up and responses are usually extremely fast. The API is thoughtfully designed and makes integrations and expanded usage simple. We currently use Paramify at least weekly, and expect that to expand to daily usage as we adopt the issues feature to manage vulnerability reporting. For very complex, deeply layered systems, some of the default risk solutions can feel a bit high-level and not always specific enough. In practice, this was easy to address by using custom responses, which worked well for our SSPs and did not negatively impact audits. I love the clean user interface and the progress bars that allow us to gauge how much more there is to do. I also really appreciated sharing a Slack channel with their team to get immediate answers to confusing questions. Using Paramify makes it super easy to organize all the different areas of compliance, who is the lead on various areas, which documents are required and where to find them, and much more. Some of the listed requirements were too vague to understand without help from the Paramify team. More examples of acceptable answers would be very helpful. For each requirement, I would like to have a tooltip that explains the requirement in more verbose details, even if it would seem obvious without one. Easy creation of new projects with configurable security control identification that includes the new NSS Overlay required by all DoD systems (170+ additional controls over and above the existing 400+ high baseline controls).

Low form factor architecture makes deployment and implementation and supports much easier as the application requires only two Kubernetes containers which is a huge benefit for complex environments like mine.

Customer support is excellent and is responsive to feature recommendations. After a year of usage across two large assessment and numerous smaller changes the application has been solid based on extensive daily usage when bugs are identified they are remediated based on impact in a timely manner.

There are many upsides to using Paramify to includeP:

• “write once apply many” means global updates can be made across your Appendix A which has major downstream benefits to associated policy and procedure documents.

• Document Robot allows for automated SSP package creation rapidly

• POA&M management, whether manually using .csv load files or automatically using API key for scanning mechanisms integration is showing benefits on the monthly time expense to produce that artifact.

• Machine readable SSP package output puts you in a position of already being to produce it (using Document Robot) when your authorizer begins requiring it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Kind of hard to point at anything specifically but in fairness the Solutions Capability may be beneficial for the production of brand new SSP packages but its benefits to a mature existing package using Custom Reponses would require substantial lift to implement so the benefit for me at this time just isn't there. However this may be something that another organization looking to use Paramify for it substantial capabilities may consider investing the time at point of ingest thus capturing this as a benefit going forward. Paramify streamlines and speeds up compliance tasks, making the process much simpler. It ensures that you address all necessary areas and respond to the appropriate questions, giving you confidence that nothing important is overlooked. It makes it easier to give customers and executives confidence in the work you are performing while producing artifacts and good dashboards to help show progress on the journey. Paramify is a fast evolving company, the one con I can say is that there isn't a mailing list for how fast they make changes or when new updates are available. There is a support site you can check for updates but it would be nice to have an automated email alert when new versions are up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate that Paramify generated our entire documentation set and helped us build for audit, which created a very smooth user experience between us, our 3PAO, and the FedRAMP PMO. I like that the product developers are extremely proactive in the way they build to meet existing and new industry needs. I think that navigating could be easier. When you are in a control, it would be nice to see breadcrumbs at the top of the page. Just being able to see which control I am working in at all times, even if I scroll down, and be able to hop to different parts of the platform using functional breadcrumbs would help. I really value Paramify's ability to organize and track security documents and processes against required controls, which provides a lot of support in government security processes. I like how I can select systems and processes, then use the pre-existing control policies and procedures to create a baseline. It's incredibly time-saving and reassuring to know that these policies and procedures have been vetted and are standardized across the cybersecurity landscape. With the recent upgrade to form-based questions and responses, that resolved the biggest downside of excel entry and tracking. The next stage of upgrades will need to work through continued simplification and organization of the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like how Paramify makes automation flexible and reusable, as it avoids repeated changes and keeps workflows clean, scalable, and easy to maintain. Its parameterized inputs replace hard-coded values, supporting easy variable mapping across steps and allowing the same automation logic to be reused across multiple environments or scenarios without modifications. What doesn’t work well and could be improved in Paramify is the limited visibility and management of parameters in complex automations, which can make troubleshooting harder.
