After interviewing two talented designers, I chose one to work with. It turns out he’s a superstar who also works for a major agency and big clients. I’ve been collaborating with him since then. **What do you dislike about Pangea.app?** There isn't much more to say — it effectively connects you with skilled freelancers, which I find to be a better experience than using Fiverr, and it also manages the billing process. It's also just a great app concept - as a student, it is frustrating how you need experience to get experience and Pangea is the perfect platform to break that loop. I got my first full-time job in large part because of the freelance work I did through Pangea - for that, I'll always be grateful. The team is also amazing! I met with Kacie Galligan to talk about my onboarding into a company and she was super cool; it really does feel like the team cares about Pangeans' success :) **What do you dislike about Pangea.app?** There is really nothing specific I dislike about Pangea, but there could be a few improvements: the community tab could get more visibility (maybe having some sort of monthly community newsletter to highlight Pangeans' victories?). Their commitment to the people they are servicing helps them improve their offering and it will continue to become even more sticky with users. **What do you dislike about Pangea.app?** I have applied to about 6 jobs on their platform and never heard back from any of the companies. It would be helpful if the company had to respond to the candidates, even if it was programmed so that we can learn that we are not being considered for the job. When you don't receive feedback or notice about the job you applied to, it can be demoralizing and lead you to apply to fewer jobs for fear that you won't hear back. **What problems is Pangea.app solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are giving students and recent graduates the opportunity to find additional or full-time work while refining their skills and earning money. In today's economy, it is natural to pick up additional short-term jobs to make more money and Pangea makes that possible for people outside the design space, which UpWork or Fiverr prioritizes. ### 9. I have been very lucky, although I am old school and don't use the app. I always log on to my laptop because it is easier to see everything.
