## About OX Security
OX is redefining product security for the AI era. Founded by Neatsun Ziv and Lion Arzi, former Check Point executives, OX is the company behind VibeSec — the first AI-native vibe security platform. Unlike traditional “Shift Left” approaches that collapsed under AI’s speed, VibeSec makes software secure by default by preventing risks before they exist. Powered by the OX AI Data Lake and dynamic code-to-runtime context, OX Security delivers: Autonomous, embedded security that runs as fast as developers. Dynamic risk context that shrinks security backlogs before they spiral. Continuous alignment across code, cloud, APIs, and runtime. With OX, developers focus on building while security runs itself, giving enterprises complete confidence that every release ships secure. OX Security -Vendor desc (request to update): OX Security is the company behind VibeSec, an AI-native autonomous security platform built for the AI development era. Unlike traditional tools that chase vulnerabilities after code is written, VibeSec embeds dynamic security context directly into AI coding environments like Cursor and Copilot. The result: every line of code is secure by default. For the first time, security moves at the speed of AI-driven development, preventing vulnerabilities before they exist, shrinking backlogs with every commit, and making security a seamless part of the development flow.

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

OX delivers comprehensive security testing and assessment capabilities, addressing the key requirements of a security-mature organization. Its intuitive dashboard provides a centralized and unified approach to issue management, ensuring streamlined tracking and resolution. A versatile set of plugins enables seamless integration with various ticketing systems for issue management, as well as the import of findings from other security tools. Majority of these integrations are fairly simple to implement. A particularly valuable feature is its pipeline functionality, which allows the creation of customized workflows based on scan results, making prevention and notification processes highly adaptable. Additionally, OX is backed by a well-structured and responsive support team, ensuring continuous availability and prompt handling of all inquiries and feedback.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

Some features currently lack documentation, and certain security testing capabilities are not yet fully covered. Additionally, the integration of more external security testing tool plugins would enhance functionality. However, most of these improvements are already planned and included in the development roadmap.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool provides end-to-end security visibility, covering the entire development lifecycle—from code writing and storage to security testing, deployment, and infrastructure management. With all functionalities integrated into a single, well-organized platform, issue management becomes seamless. The tool dynamically recalculates issue priorities based on insights gathered throughout the development and deployment process, ensuring context-aware risk assessment. Its powerful pipeline system enables automated notifications to relevant teams based on issue origin and type while also enforcing security policies by blocking new code when prohibited issue types are detected.

  ### 2. A Transformative Game-Changer in Application Security Posture Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dudi E. | Co-Founder and CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

OX Security’s ASPM solution excels at delivering a comprehensive, end-to-end view of the security posture across the entire software development lifecycle. The platform’s intuitive interface makes it easy to pinpoint vulnerabilities early, prioritize critical issues, and streamline remediation processes. I particularly appreciate the seamless integrations with existing DevOps tools, ensuring that security insights flow naturally into development workflows without creating bottlenecks. The real-time visibility and actionable intelligence provided by OX Security foster a security-first mindset, boosting both the confidence of our development team and the overall resilience of our applications.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

While OX Security’s ASPM platform is robust and feature-rich, it can feel a bit overwhelming when first getting started. The wealth of options and detailed analytics might require a brief learning curve for newer team members. However, with a little time and the helpful documentation available, our team quickly adapted and now fully leverages all the platform’s powerful capabilities.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OX Security is tackling the core challenge of ensuring a consistent and holistic approach to application security throughout the entire software lifecycle. Traditionally, teams had to juggle disparate tools, analyze complicated vulnerability reports, and struggle to align security measures with fast-paced development timelines. OX Security’s ASPM solution consolidates these efforts into a single, integrated platform—no more switching between multiple dashboards, no more guesswork on which vulnerabilities to fix first, and no more miscommunication between development and security teams.

This integrated, end-to-end visibility dramatically enhances our efficiency. It ensures that potential issues are flagged at the earliest stages, allowing the team to quickly address them before they compound into bigger problems. By simplifying our security workflows, OX Security not only frees up valuable engineering time but also significantly reduces the risk of introducing critical vulnerabilities into production. The result is faster, more secure product releases, greater peace of mind, and the ability to maintain a stronger security posture as we grow.

  ### 5. It just works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Domen K. | CTO, Lead Developer, Software Architect, Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

I must admit it has a lot of functionalities that we barly scratched the surface of. But from the initial scans we were already blown away by the amount of detections it has made. Its advanced if you want, but also simple to use. Mind you, if something is missing, they will gladly add it to the scanning as well. We primarly are using it for Gitlab repo code security scanning, but you can use it in your CI/CD pipeline as well. What's great about OX is they will first let you do a POC, and then if you're happy you can continue using it. To integrate it, just point it to your GIT repository! Then if you wish, it can generate Jira tickets for you.
When you start using it they will provide you with onboarding sessions which is great, and after that you can have reocurring calls with them to resolve any issues you are having or talk about new features. Just a great experience from start to finish with OX.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

No downsides yet. We are enjoying the product.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speeds up code security checks, with decreasing amount of penetration testing that needs to be performed.

  ### 6. Exceptional Performance and Support with OX Security

  ### 7. Best ASPM with native Application Security tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokesh T. | Sr. Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

Ox Security consolidates various tools into a single dashboard by integrating with multiple vendors, providing holistic visibility and seamless AI-powered integrations to aid in issue resolution.

Additionally, Ox Security offers an on-premises solution, which I find especially valuable since many organizations prefer not to upload their code to third-party platforms. With Ox Security's on-premises solution, code scanning occurs locally, ensuring that code remains secure within the organization’s own infrastructure.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

If Ox security, have their DataCentre in india that would be awsome for indian market. But still it can be manageble because they have few certifications to ensure audience on their data. And espically they are offering On prem solutins as well.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me correlate issues and eliminate duplication, allowing for a more streamlined workflow. Instead of navigating through multiple tools to view results, Ox Security provides a single dashboard that consolidates everything into one clear, accessible view.

  ### 8. A Must-Have Platform for Streamlined Security and Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shoham A. | Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

OX Security has greatly improved our security posture with its seamless integrations, especially with GitLab, Jira, and Slack, which keep our team proactive and efficient. The platform’s combination of SAST, and open-source checks under one tool is a huge win for us, as it streamlines security processes and offers in-depth insights across our cloud and CI/CD environments.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

While the platform already covers a lot, there are a few features we’d love to see in future updates, like enhanced reporting options and more GCP integrations. These would make an already excellent tool even more robust, and I’m excited to see how OX Security evolves over time!

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OX Security is solving several critical challenges in our security workflow. By integrating seamlessly with our CI/CD pipeline, it helps us identify vulnerabilities and security issues early in the development process, reducing the likelihood of vulnerabilities making it to production.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander B. | SecOps Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

We use Ox as our code security solution. The platform automatically scans our codebase and Pull Requests, and creates Jira tickets for security findings based on multiple criteria, routing them directly to the responsible teams. This automation has made Ox our single source of truth for code security, enabling our RnD, SecOps, and Product teams to effectively manage the security fix lifecycle

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

Ox could be even more effective with the ability to rescan specific code after Jira issues are marked as resolved, and by adding an option to scan individual repositories or projects rather than requiring full codebase scans.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ox Security solves two critical challenges in our code security management: automated vulnerability (and also licensing issues, IaC faulty configuration, exposed secrets) detection and streamlined remediation workflow.

  ### 10. Comprehensive code security tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Gambling & Casinos | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

Seamless and fast integration with your tools; a wide amount of features; user-friendly easy to use interface; great level of technical and non-technical support from the vendor.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

Few bugs over time and non-detailed/non-comprehensive documentation.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is able to show and prioritize issues in code accordingly. As a result you have a centralized portal to track your code security efforts and it became much easier to manage time and human resources, required to fix vulnerabilities. Helps to block code issues from the very early stages of development which drastically reduces the probability of real exploitable issues to appear in production.

  ### 11. Fantastic AppSec Tool Developing at Breakneck Speed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avichai M. | Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

Ox is a fantastic tool at the heart of our AppSec strategy. It’s easy to implement and provides an overwhelming volume of crucial, interrelated data that is vital to running a secure and effective SDLC.

The platform offers a wealth of features for use across your environment, gathering data from multiple stages of the SDLC and creating a top-down view to apply effective risk management strategies. Collected issues are contextually reassessed, and reprioritised severities help better organise and address findings efficiently.

We’ve integrated Ox scanning into our CI pipeline, enabling engineers to identify issues early in the development cycle—before code is merged—thanks to Ox’s pipeline rules. The variety of scans offered is impressive, accounting for numerous variables throughout the code journey.

Ox’s capabilities extend to our EKS clusters, validating image deployments and helping us better organize our registry. The data it provides on identified issues is invaluable for remediation planning, including the source of findings and associated code snippets. While the UI could be more intuitive and has a slight learning curve, it’s clear that all the necessary data is readily accessible within the platform. Administrators can also customise user views to hide irrelevant features, minimizing distractions for engineers.

The recent implementation of RBAC has further simplified our workflows, limiting users' visiblity scope and assigning the appropriate privileges. By dividing findings among the teams that own them and leveraging the application owner features, we can effectively delegate responsibilities and streamline remediation efforts.

Ox’s customer support has been excellent—attentive to our needs and super responsive to feedback. They convey professionalism and a genuine passion for their product and purpose, it shows.

Ox consistently delivers upgrades and new features, almost on a weekly basis. The new BOM capabilities, including Artifact BOM and Cloud BOM, provide unparalleled visibility into our cloud infrastructure and artifacts, helping us maintain control and avoid unvalidated components.

Overall, I highly recommend Ox Security. With their pace of innovation and commitment to excellence, I have no doubt they’ll be an industry leader in the coming years.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

It's worth mentioning that the Ox team are aware of these points and are currently working to have the features implemented to support them shortly.
Issue metrics - Whilst there's great clarity on the issues that are open, it is harder to track what's been closed and why.
Jira integration - This is being developed, but our experience has shown that there is room for optimisation here, the integration at this stage simply creates tickets, it does not have the ability to close or add updates to the tickets through the lifecycle of the vulnerability remediation.
RBAC - This has been implemented and is great, but still requires some work to be a little more dynamic

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ox enables us to maintain control over our environment without burdening engineers with overly rigid guidelines. It provides excellent visibility into our security posture and the nature of our engineering teams' work.
Our risks and vulnerabilities are clearly identified and prioritised for remediation, allowing us to address critical issues early before they impact the application. Ox also gives us better insight into our artifact usage, helping us understand what is deployed and what isn't, so we can better organise and categorise our registry. The ability to validate image deployments is crucial for maintaining security.
Overall, Ox helps us ensure a secure SDLC, streamline remediation efforts, and maintain better control over our infrastructure, giving us greater confidence in managing risk at scale

  ### 12. AppSec all inclusive and cost effective comprehensive solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

As one of OX Security's first customers, I was searching for an effective solution to upscale Upstream Security's application security stack. I evaluated several and various vendor's solutions during the selection process. With OX Security I was able to meet all our demanding requirements, deploy it quickly and intuitively.

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

This solution offers the use of 3rd party tools from its marketplace which you need to have a license for in case you need more than OX Security's own or open-source scanners which will increase the TCO.
That being said I found their scanners sufficient for my organization's purposes.

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

OX Security primarily addresses the growing challenge of software supply chain security. In today's software development landscape, applications heavily rely on open-source components, third-party libraries and third party containers. This reliance introduces significant security risks, as vulnerabilities in these components can be exploited by attackers to compromise the entire application.

OX Security helps our organization mitigate these risks by providing a comprehensive Application Security solution from the source code production through its deployment in Cloud environment.

This solution scans applications to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities in their open-source dependencies. By proactively addressing these vulnerabilities, our organization can significantly reduce its attack surface and protect its applications from potential breaches.

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

Ox Security allows us to have visiblity into our repositories and applications at scale. By centralizing any issues, correlating diverse datasets and prioritzing remediation activities, we are able to triage faster than before. The unified approach to scanning and triaging helps us remediate faster and more efficiently

**What do you dislike about OX Security?**

One opportunity for improvement is determinng the developer relationship with the product. Today it's difficult to show the value directly to an engineering manager

**What problems is OX Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had separate scanning sources without aggregation - Ox allows us to bring many different tools and sources of data together to a unified platform for easier prioritization remediation

**What do you like best about OX Security?**

Ox's dashboards have been super useful for showing ROI to management for dealing with dependency debt. Qualifying vulnerabilities by their Execution environment is a cool feature that lets us prioritise changes that have the most impact.
