## About OrapexAI
OrapexAI is a 100% HIPAA-compliant AI voice receptionist built exclusively for dental practices. It integrates in real-time with Open Dental using secure API keys to book appointments, verify patients, and map insurance directly during live calls. The AI agent answers inbound calls 24/7, verifies existing patients using first name, last name, and date of birth via fuzzy matching logic, and automatically generates new patient profiles. During the call, the AI checks live provider and operatory availability, books the appointment directly into the PMS, and automatically assigns the correct procedure codes (like D0120 or D1110). Furthermore, OrapexAI collects and appends primary and secondary dental insurance information directly to the patient profile without overwriting existing claims. OrapexAI operates under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and never uses Protected Health Information (PHI) for AI model training.
