It is my opinion that the infrastructure needs time to improve is scalability for large clients. With a large amount of traffic, going into the system, we find the systems performs begins to fail

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it solved was allowing us to consolidate multiple systems into one

  ### 8. Oracle is a great bridge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher P. | Systems Engineering Manager II Deputy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It's ability to sync up with SAP as a bridge to a sense in allowing workers to connect with their manufacturing and time keeping in order to keep track of costs has been phenomenal and simple.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

In the past there have been a lot of updates for Oracle as well as for SAP, however it seems that the patches and the updates take a ridiculous amount of time. What would be nice is if the patches are updates would be done to a sense offline allowing users to still be able to use the software when they're in the office.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

One of the issues I found troublesome was all the t codes that there are. The best thing you can do is to have a Oracle or SAP contact assist you in transitioning and utilizing the software.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it primarily for tracking manufacturing and tracking timekeeping within the organization it's a big part of us determining the cost of what we are doing per contract. The benefit is the transparency to be honest.

  ### 9. Smooth process for HR MANAGEMENT

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carissa W. | Paid Digital Media Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

The design of the platform is easy for employee and employer to easily navigate through with ease. Training new employees to use this platform is very quick to learn. I also enjoy the mobile feature which allows for the quickest accessibility for employees.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Lack of security protocols for access on thr platform. With companjes being hacked as GR manager I need to know data is safe for employees and employers. This valuable date of employee retention and timesheet is very valuable.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily onboard new hires on using the platform in training. The app helps saves company time and loss prevention with the data collected. Enables management to quickly analyze data for changes in workforce labor.

  ### 10. Expenses Simplified!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

We mainly used Oracle Workforce Management to manage and track expenses when on a business trip or event. Using this tool made it easy to budget expenses and get approval from our supervisors. Expenses like airfare, meals, hotel and more are easily tracked and recorded. We can create an expense report to lump all associated expenses into the same one trip. This makes it easy for our approvers to know that everything happened on Trip A.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

The user interface of this tool did seem a little outdated. It took some time to get use to navigating through the application, but overall it was pretty simple to navigate through. Not sure if this had to do with my service provider, but sometimes when saving items or pictures, it would be a little slow when saving it. Running reports can be a little difficult sometimes, but this isn't something we have to do very often.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

There are other tools that can be used, Oracle Workforce Management is fairly straightforward to use. Once one learns how to use how to enter and label expenses, it makes life easy when doing so. If you're already using other Oracle programs, then using this one will only enhance your Oracle user experience.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest plus since using Oracle Workforce Management, we have increased employee efficiency. When employees are submitting expense reports, they are being submitted on time. Each line item is labeled properly with its right tag, and we can easily identify what kind of expense each thing is. If we think an expense is labeled wrong, we can return the expense report back to the employee to have him or her correct it.

  ### 11. I use Oracle Expense Management to run analysis reports on the expenses.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie L. | Financial Reporting Staff Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

The availability is nice to have, instead of getting things at several different sources. The fact that we can enter expenses, invoices, payments, journal entries, along with set up new general ledger accounts and run reports, allows for flexibility to do more analysis and high level thinking for our jobs, instead a lot of manual entry in different systems. Along with that, the smartview and essbase feature we use in our excel files are very helpful in preparing financials and board reports, along with reports for external users and for filing with the SEC.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

There are some glitches I run into when running reports in Oracle, in that it doesn't let me utilize all the filters I need. For instance, I try running the trial balance, but one of the filters I need to select in order to run the report is grayed out. This results in me having to ask someone else to run the report, even though I need it to do my job and tasks. Another thing I dislike is that the survey that is sent to get an Amazon gift card is rigged so that you can never get your $10 gift card. I've typed a lot in each answer, and yet, the progress bar isn't "progressing" any closer to the $10 status. So it is unattainable I suppose and is just an optical illusion to make you think you can get it for taking precious time to fill out the survey.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

It is fairly straightforward to use, and once you learn how to do it once, you typically understand every feature going forward. There are also improvements/upgrades that are always being considered by the company. Those are hard to work around when implementing at first, but it pays off in the end since the system is better as a whole. I'm not sure how each individual aspect of the Oracle Expense Management Cloud works, since we use so many features, but if you use a lot of the aspects we use as a complete package, then Oracle is a great system and Cloud.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has smoothed over our recording process and how we enter data. With each new added feature and upgrade, it helps our company run more efficiently overall. There's always room for growth in every company and product, but the Cloud is a good start. Some problems we're solving by using the Oracle Expense Management Cloud is unnecessary excel manual entry, like double or triple manual entry, since all of what we need is in one system. Even our reporting and work in excel is done using Oracle, so we don't need a separate system for that either.

  ### 12. Great Product Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | Advanced Analyst HRIS, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Simple and customized search options. Able to quickly find key bits of information on people when I need it. I also like the design and ability to customize the look and feel for employees. The search shows both active and inactive records allowing to easily see people that have been termed and rehired multiple times which we run into quite often with our manufacturing staff. Works well with security and being able to have certain practitioners only see employees that are relevant to them and not anyone else's data.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Custom fields are located in odd place on people record and not able to change it. Search can be finicky with special characters and hard if you do not know correct spelling of a name. Some of the font coloring for hyperlinks has recently changed and makes it much less friendly to those who might have poorer eyesight. When trying to customize and change it I was unable to find a specific setting for that font color. Oracle is constantly updating which is normally great but every once in a while you miss a feature update that requires setup and then it is a scramble to get something back up and running with the new version .

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is the ability for self service among our HR practitioners. The support is also a big benefit anytime we run into issues. Oracle is quick to respond and if there is any uptick in service requests they provide additional resources quickly to correct any major problems. We used to have everyone record in paper in a file room and now it is in Oracle and it the Cloud wich is a great improvement as it can be accessed at any point anywhere by whomever has the correct security requirements.

  ### 13. Expense management simplified

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinita N. | Senior Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It's extremely useful to manage/ track your expenses on a client trip. It is relatively simple to budget estimated expenses and get approval. You can easily record expenses for airfare, accomodation, meals, taxis, etc by creating expense reports. Bills and receipts can be scanned eliminating the need for keeping all paper bills. Feature to pull receipts directly from the card statement can be quite handy (especially when you forget to generate or collect receipts such as oyster card recharges etc)

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

While the interface is relatively simple, it took some time getting used to. It can sometimes be quite slow while saving items and reports.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made it easier to claim reimbursements for expenses for onshore visits and track their progress giving visibility.

  ### 14. Feature Packed Suite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Very comprehensive tool which speeds up the entire accosting process. Extremely easy to track and get reimbursed for work-related expenses. Once you get the hang of it, it's a much faster process than manual expense tracking. Frees up employees to get back to work instead of having to use older systems. If you use other Oracle Products, it's a similar UI and can be connected when it makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It does take a little bit of training to learn the system and get the hang of it. UX could be refreshed and updated so that it is improved upon for easier use. It also depends on the accounting team behind it managing the system for maximum efficacy.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

If you are already using other Oracle products, and instead to stick with it, it makes sense to keep your Expense Management system coordinated with your other systems. Although there are alternatives that are easier to learn and manage, it is a feature packed suite that is robust once you get over the learning curve.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expense Tracking and Management to get employees reimbursed for work related expenses.

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It organizes the workload. You can easily follow all the expenses.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It times out without any notice and you have to repeat all the work. The system has to provide some alert before it loses your information. Also, using the Back button messes it up. Lots of errors there.

It has major issues.Upgrade the system to be more user friendly and to have the information autosaved .

For integration, getting data using BI tools was made possible. Using BI tools to get custom data set by creating new BI reports was helpful.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Pushing data from cloud to other on premise application is challenge when customer has their own control options. Also sensitive data to publish on network was't good option and so cloud limiting the option to integrate on premise application.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting accruals from payroll process and creating GL in on premise application.

  ### 21. Oracle Expense Management - Useful for budgeting for our small business

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

It's a great tool to use when you're out in the field and don't want to carry around a notebook of work expenses or track those manually. This cut down on clutter and paper waste. This software gave us peace of mind that all of our work expenses were documented and that we'd have accurate documentation for reimbursement.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

The UI seems a bit outdated. Functionality wise, it works, but seems clunky and slow at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

Overall I'd recommend it, but I feel there are better options out there. I've been looking around and have found viable and cheaper options.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How user friendly this software is. Even people that are not familiar with Oracle, and it’s other packages l, they would be able to use it. Also the vast of options that Oracle could offers are pretty great compared to other competitors that offer same service.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Their customer service and help division is not that great. I have once called (tried) to call customer service and I never got the ability to talk to anyone of them.

  ### 31. They couldn't have come up with a worse timeclock application if they had monkeys punch you in/out

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris G. | Archaeology Field Technician, Civil Engineering, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

I like that I'm able to put my hours in via phone. That's convenient, but the process you access and document your hours is very convoluted.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

I hate how convoluted the system is -- I shouldn't have to go through 5 layers of security to log my hours. It takes so long that I have to tack on how long it took me onto my billable hours. Its ridiculous. There are far better apps out there for calculating time and labor. Why is this one so hard to work?

**Recommendations to others considering Oracle Workforce Management:**

You really have no choice but to use this if your company is implementing this software. That being the case, do the best you can with it. It's going to be a bear to use. Maybe it's just me, but this program is not intuitive and not easy to get into. I would suggest using paper and pencil to log your hours and make sure that you get paid.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving my "getting paid" problem. Although half the time it doesn't acknowledge my existence or recognize the hours I punch in. The only benefits I've realized is being able to document hours on the go, in the field.

**Reviewed by:** Qurana M. | Marketing Specialist, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Easy user friendly interface. Simple navigation to find what you’re looking for. This has definitely allowed myself and others to see discrepancies right away and fix them.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Workforce Management?**

Would like a better customer service call/contact experience with help desk. AT times it could be hard to settle customer-related issues, so a better experince with the service depts is needed. An expansive range of topics could benefit training.

**What problems is Oracle Workforce Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transitioning to electronic time cards- software has been a great device for accurate timekeeping. Its time-effective and more up-to- date than what we've graduated from.
