Useful when trying to make a big project. I like the way it is object-oriented. It is also easier to code and debug. I really like eclipse as a debugger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The input is way to slow -- even if you use streamtokenizer. I don't have a strong background of java, but scanner for competition problems never work for me. And streamtokenizer is too long to code Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great SQL client that allows for advanced querying.

More difficult to install and setup than other alternatives. As Oracle CDC becomes an ancient technology and is hardly used, we face many challenges while working on it in our Oracle Databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Oracle Java Cloud Service:

I find Oracle databases to be top notch at what they are designed to do. There are minor nuisances, but I'm sure all database platforms have some issues. Oracle is often upgrading their databases which introduce new functionality and more powerful ways to interact with the databases. Overall, thoroughly enjoy working with Oracle's products. What do you like best about Oracle Java Cloud Service?

Oracle java cloud service provides excellent features to build, manage and deploy Java Enterprise applications smoothly and efficiently. It has an ideal environment platform for the development, testing, and deployment of the applications built by us. It has multi tier environments comprised of Oracle WebLogic server and Oracle Coherence.

It helps in continuous build to complete the project and is ideal for agile project management comprising of large teams. It gives complete admin access to the server via the admin console platform and all time access to VM using the SSH technology. It can create standalone apps using the data feeds from your preferred SaaS service provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Java Cloud Service?

Everything is good except one thing: I could not find detail regarding how can I increase the storage or how to extend a particular portion. There should be some documentation regarding this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle Java Cloud Service solving and how is that benefiting you?

The best benefit which I have seen is the Oracle Cloud stack containing the Iaas & PaaS dependencies for other resources. It is combined together so that we can define the application stack in a single platform. It has the capability to integrate with other cloud services such as Oracle Storage Cloud Service, Oracle Database Cloud Service, and Oracle Messaging Cloud Service.

We are free to choose our preferred Standard edition if 11g or R12 version as per our needs and requirements in the project. Caching and data grid needs are taken care of automatically by the Oracle Coherence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like it more because it's customer support. Here we can live chat with support center so it make easy to clear our doubt. Another important thing is with the help of this we can easily work from anywhere at anytime. It is best for team workers because no need to be on same place.
