The REQUEST A DEMO feature is easy to find, though they don't seem to really respond to requests for more information. **What do you dislike about OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management?** Our Special District reached out several times to OpenGov for eprocurement solutions in advance of a large capital improvement project. They were not interested in providing a response and stopped communicating via email before we could even schedule a demo. Just terrible customer service. If you're a smaller entity, I'd look elsewhere for a company that respects your time. **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** They chose not to engage us in our requests for product information and pricing. ### 2. It is a great resource to find possible contracts suitable for your area of expertise. The procurement experience can seem intimidating, however, this platform provides a lot of tools and information that help identify adequate opportunities. OpenGov has a robust use of tools and analytics making it simple to manage opportunities. **What do you dislike about OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management?** There is a bit of a learning curve in figuring out how the platform, it takes patience, but once you work on the platform and give it a chance, you see that it is quite simple. **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** OpenGov solves the issue of finding adequate opportunities to pursue, ensuring we consistently allocate our resources properly in pursuit of Business Development. ### 3. You would then assume that you would only get bid notifications for items that fall under that category, but that isn't the case. We have the option selected to only receive bids matching our categories. However, we still receive bids for anything that any of our subscribed organizations post. When I reached out, I was told the only way to stop that was to unsubscribe to that organization entirely. Seems like that defeats the whole purpose of being a bid notification site. I get multiple emails daily that are just ones to delete due to this because I don't want to miss out on the valid bids. **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is providing a platform to access multiple organization's bids under one login and site. ### 4. Customer service has been great and the dashboard is so easy for our end users to navigate on a daily basis! **What do you dislike about OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management?** I don't really have anything bad to say about the system - obviously improvements and design updates might make this even better than it currently is, but the layout and navigation are fine as is! **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing us to keep our entire procurement process contained in one environment and gives our staff and vendors an easy-to-use e-procurement process. ### 6. We can work across departments without leaving our desk. It would be nice to be able to copy them to the project. **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has solved the silo approach to purchasing in our agency. We now have a centralized area that purchasing is taking place. It also provides us feedback on vendors. ### 7. The time savings are a huge benefit, better collaboration and communication between our staff as well as vendors minimize misunderstandings and mistakes, and we are getting great response from all of our users. **What do you dislike about OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management?** I only dislike that we didn't start using OpenGov sooner. **What problems is OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** One of our biggest issues was that we previously had no natural way to track expiring contracts. OpenGov has changed that. Another issue was having to disqualify vendor submittals due to missing documents. OpenGov has solved that problem as well ### 9.
