I find the real-time GPS data incredibly useful for monitoring harsh events like harsh braking, harsh acceleration, harsh cornering, and speeding. The ability to see inside the van when there are behavior issues and communicate directly with the driver is very helpful. I appreciate the alerts for cell phone use that provide snapshots without needing to download footage from the cloud. The system also helps in developing our drivers and assists them in finding the right entrances at schools. I think it's really easy to set up One Step GPS, just plug and play, especially with their newer camera-integrated devices once they've been mounted correctly. But the standout feature for me is their outstanding customer service. If I need a report and can't find the information, I can contact One Step, and they'll create it for me. One thing that bothers me is when I'm checking GPS and time sheets. It might show that the van moved for a minute or two, with a speed reading in miles per hour, even though it didn't actually go anywhere. I love how One Step GPS supports personal safety for my family, especially for my teen daughter traveling back and forth from college. The chat support responds very quickly and thoroughly, doing what they can to solve any issues. I also appreciate how great the system is for our trucking business, including its accurate mileage tracking and real-time tracking capabilities. It's a fantastic tool for IFTA tax reporting and monitoring fuel efficiency when a driver is off route. The ability to give our customers a link to track their product delivery on the way from point A to point B is amazing, plus I can set a cutoff time for that feature. One of my favorite features is the address entry function that shows how far our equipment is from a location, which is handy if something gets lost. I would like to see the customer's privacy choices excluded from disclaimers and lengthy contracts. Privacy information should be a document in itself, short and to the point, that is all encompassing of any breach of privacy matters. Privacy should be preserved now and in the future so the customer does not feel like their location, personal and business information, documents, reports, usage, habits, etc. are at anyone else's request without the customer's explicit permission... it should not be included in a disclaimer or lengthy contract.
