I can record sessions details and attendance and outcomes. one of the features i like most about oases is that t fascilitates communication between tutors, parents and students. **What do you dislike about Oases?** the only thing i would like to mention here is that softwares upgrades should be free of cost. besides that customer support is realy awsome. **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me in managing and organising tutoring and educational services. it helps me in easy scheduling and session management. it provides us number of features and tools for managing Tutors, student progress, sessions, and provides integration options for reports and payments. ### 2. The overall calendar feature is really helpful as well, and the fact that our tutors can submit notes from each session that are automatically sent to the student's guardians. **What do you dislike about Oases?** I find there to be a ton of issues with Oases when it comes to functionality. Such as, sometimes when I try to create a session it goes onto the wrong day, or it tells me there is a conflict with the tutor (when I am certain that there is not). **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** Tutor management has been much easier with Oases. I've found that it is so much easier to cancel a session (as tutors are automatically notified) and to keep track of their on-boarding status. ### 4. Easy to tailor staff access to different levels, and limit user responsibilities. **What do you dislike about Oases?** Emails and templates are often clunky. The permanent delete feature for sessions can cause problems and some of the tutor pay/parent charge features require a fine touch/very specific knowledge. **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** Billing, parent contact info, and tutor backgrounds all in one software. Session notes being emailed automatically is a huge benefit. The tutor's availability and subjects being part of matching helps tremendously. ### 5. I don't know how much it costs, but don't buy it if it's too much. **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the problem of knowing when I'm tutoring. ### 6. It is also easy to navigate. I use it as a tutor, in which I am able to keep track of the sessions in which I have with my students. The platform keeps my sessions organized, so that I have a log of all of the times in which I work. **What do you dislike about Oases?** Oases can require too many buttons to save and submit notes. I wish that it saved things without having to hit "save." **Recommendations to others considering Oases:** Be patient with your time with it. The first few times you use the platform, it may seem intimidating, but now that I use it everyday, and I am fully adjusted, it is so much easier! **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am using Oases to log tutor sessions, and communicate with the tutoring company in which I work. ### 7. Perhaps the best aspect is that it can push schedules to google calendar and be integrated with GSuite **What do you dislike about Oases?** For one, clicking a checkmark (As one would reconcile a lesson in TutorPanel) deletes the session from the schedule and it takes a lot longer to apply labels or types to sessions since the notes sections are where you add the details that would have already appeared in the label name. You also can't colour code the sessions in order to see your colleagues availability. **Recommendations to others considering Oases:** It takes time, as I am finding out, to learn how to effectively use, but you can pick it up immediately. **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem is the ability to communicate quickly with parents. The ability to have them the schedule, adjust, and even cancel sessions without needing to consult our scheduling department is mint. Also, the ability to see the entire schedule for the student over the course of Months is going to prove incredibly valuable for long term planning. ### 8. It helps me focus my energies on what is important in my classroom. **What do you dislike about Oases?** some of the programs are too difficult for my special education students even though it was supposed to be directed at them. It's important for my special education students to feel confidant and that's hard to do when they can't understand the program. **Recommendations to others considering Oases:** Its worth trying because there are a lot of good qualities. I wouldn't suggest using it with your challenged students. **What problems is Oases solving and how is that benefiting you?** it brings the community together with students who need that extra special help. It's a wonderful feeling of accomplishment for the tutor and student when it's done right which always helps tremendously ### 10. I have to click on the name for full name, session type, and session duration.
