## Nudge Security Reviews
 ### 1. Collaborative Vibe with Deep Insight into Our SaaS Environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald L. | Manager of Information Technology, Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I love Nudge's vibe; it's not a 'hard no', it's more collaborative. Nudge takes the approach of, "Why do you need this? Do you need this? How can we set this up to benefit all of the firm?" I also love the significant insight provided my the service into my firm's SaaS environment and account management.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Some of the Apps that are more custom don't show up appropriately in the system and require a bit of re-configuration and labeling to define more appropriately. Not Nudge's fault, but providing the ability to organize some of these apps would be beneficial.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge Security provides me significant visibility into my firm's SaaS and OAuth usage on a very timely basis. This allows me to stay on top of cybersecurity issues, known breaches and even supply-chain breaches for known accounts and platforms.

 ### 2. Powerful Visibility Into SaaS Usage and Risk With Nudge’s AI Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

Nudge is the tool that you didn't know you needed, until you see the information that it gathers on what you are already doing in your enterprise. The visibility is great, I can see every tool that users have signed up for using there google credentials. This visibility alone helps me understand potential risk and expose from the increasing and consistent breaches. One compelling feature is the AI dashboard, allowing me to see who's using what tool, when.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Nudge, like any observability tool, can be overwhelming. It's not a dislike, but more setting expectations, you will get out of it what you put into it. It should be part of app onboarding and lifecycle management so that it complements the use of other tools. If you just buy it and turn it on, you aren't getting the full value from Nudge.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge provides the visibility into shadow IT that every Infosec leader needs. No other tools surfaces the applications, usage, proliferation, like nudge. Using the UI I can drill down to the user and see applications, last login, common users. The data is well organized and accessible to answer real world business questions, as they come up.

 ### 3. Comprehensive Visibility and Simplified IT Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian H. | Director | Commercial and Corporate Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I think it's really the simplicity of the whole platform. The fact that it captures information from sign up, it gives you the insight internally as to what systems are being used. We get an idea of the sort of coverage that we've got by the different categories of products that are being used. It gives us visibility maybe of any duplicate different teams have gone off and chosen different products to solve the same problem. From an IT perspective, that then allows us to turn around and go, is this now something we ought to consolidate on one single platform across the company, or are there real reasons for having two or three different versions of a similar product.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

I think the biggest thing that we would like to see ultimately is a nice slick way of automatically offboarding people when they leave an organization or they leave a project team, to be able to go through and offboard them off the solution they're using.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security to solve shadow IT problems by getting early alerts on new product sign-ups. It helps monitor service usage, alerts us to AI policy compliance, and allows actions to reduce exposure from redundant services.

 ### 4. Innovative Shadow IT & AI Insights That Deliver Strong ROI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

Nudge was initially something we rolled out for Shadow IT - however now it has helped solve multiple use cases -> shadow AI, 3rd party SaaS app white & black list, Access review for 3rd party Apps, AI insights such as MCP and data flow. This is where their innovation is truly amazing and befits the ROI for the price we pay.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Not much, really. My main feedback is around the UI: it would be helpful if they could add more information. Also, when they roll out a feature, I’d like them to look closely at the UX and make sure they understand the full use case. Sometimes the way it’s implemented ends up affecting the overall UX performance as well.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main use case in today's world is Shadow IT & Shadow AI and doing it in a manner that has less friction to end users, multiple integrations, easy onboarding, good support and also protecting the enterprise assets

 ### 5. Visibility Champion with Room for Proactive Actions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Korey K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I use Nudge Security for visibility and monitoring of Shadow IT apps, which I find great for its visibility. I appreciate how it automatically identifies security documentation of the apps we use. This feature is particularly helpful when assessing vendors and performing annual vendor reviews, as having some of that information already gathered saves time and effort. Besides, I find it helpful that it sends notifications when users sign up for a new tool and connect it to their user accounts.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

I wish there was something that I could do to take action on new apps that we encounter. I would love blocking actions or a whitelist so that apps can't be automatically added.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security for visibility and monitoring of Shadow IT apps. It sends notifications when users sign up for a new tool, provides great visibility, and automatically identifies security documentation, which helps with vendor assessments and reviews.

 ### 6. Visibility Enhanced, Needs Customization Options

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis G. | Corporate IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I really like the visibility that Nudge Security gives us into what our users are using, especially if it's not from our approved stack. I like the ability to require users to justify and provide an explanation for what they're using. And most recently, I really like the Chrome extension and its ability to throw up a pop-up and make sure that our users aren't using something that is not approved.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

There's not a lot of customization for how we store application account and user records. It'd be good to have custom fields. Right now, we're relying on tags for that.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge Security helps manage IT and SaaS sprawl by monitoring unapproved user tools and ensuring compliance. It enhances visibility and accountability with features like pop-ups and usage justifications, and we've started using it for monitoring AI inputs in the browser.

 ### 7. Indispensable for SaaS Oversight with Room for Improvement on off boarding runbook

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Infrastructure Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I use Nudge Security for gaining a complete oversight of the SaaS products our users are signing up for. It identifies the applications that have been signed up for and the number of accounts that exist. I like the ease of viewing the information it gathers. The initial setup was really simple. I find Nudge Security incredibly useful and wouldn't like to be without it!

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

I don't find the runbooks as intuitive as they could be. For example, with the offboarding runbook - enhanced functionality for requesting an application to close a user's account when the user's email account has already been closed.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security for gaining complete oversight of SaaS products our users sign up for, identifying applications signed up for, and the number of accounts.

 ### 8. Automated SaaS discovery that saves hours of manual auditing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ignacio P. | CS Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

What I like the most is their OAuth integration detection. It provides incredible visibility into exactly which third-party apps have access to our environment and what permissions they hold, which is crucial for our daily security operations....

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

They cover the most important integrations perfectly, but as our stack grows, I'd like to see an even broader catalog of native integrations with other specialized IT and security tools out of the box

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with decentralized SaaS sprawl and didn't have a clear inventory of what unapproved apps our employees were connecting to our workspace. Nudge Security solves this by automating SaaS discovery. It benefits us by giving IT and Security teams full control over our environment, saving us hours of work each week and ensuring no risky third-party connections go unnoticed...

 ### 9. User-Friendly and Effortlessly Integrated Security Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josue A. | IT Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I like Nudge Security because it provides a user-friendly environment which is especially helpful for those of us who track activities. The layout is straightforward, making it easy to navigate. I also appreciate the integrated apps like Google Workspace and Okta, which are the ones we use. The initial setup was very easy, and that made the whole onboarding experience smooth. Overall, I'm very happy with Nudge Security since our recent acquisition, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Maybe some users have reported customization at their end.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security for tracking apps company-wide, providing all-in-one visibility. It offers a user-friendly environment and integrates well with Google Workspace and Okta.

 ### 10. Essential for SaaS Management and Shadow IT Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikhail Y. | Security Architect, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I like how quickly Nudge Security discovers SaaS apps without needing agents and appreciate that the automated nudges to employees are non-intrusive yet effective. The offboarding workflows are a huge time saver, and I find the interface clean and easy to navigate. The initial setup was very straightforward, taking only a few clicks to connect our identity provider, and discovery started within minutes.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Reporting could be more customizable, and integrations with some niche SaaS apps are still limited. Pricing can also feel steep for smaller teams.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security to discover SaaS applications, gain shadow IT visibility, automate offboarding, reduce SaaS sprawl, and prevent orphaned accounts, saving us hours on manual tasks.

 ### 11. User-Friendly Security with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I really appreciate Nudge Security for its user-friendly design and for continuing to expand its functionality. The platform is robust yet not overly complicated to use, making it intuitive and well-designed. I also found the initial setup very easy, as it simply required providing the necessary credentials for Microsoft 365, and it took care of the rest.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

For the components that we use, it is a little expensive. For everything available, it is reasonably priced.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security for shadow app detection, helping us identify when employees sign up for services without IT's knowledge. This allows us to address existing solutions or business needs.

 ### 12. Effortless Setup, Comprehensive Security Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig P. | Network Administrator, Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I use Nudge Security to monitor employee service usage through account creation. I really like how it allows us to see a very broad security horizon, including SaaS and AI assets, utilization, spend, attack surface, security posture, and supply chain risks. This insight helps us understand our risks and mitigate them effectively. The setup was very easy, and it provided results quickly. I don't have any issues at this time, and they continue to improve the product.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

No issues at this time

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security to monitor employee service usage and see our security posture, allowing us to understand risks better and mitigate them.

 ### 13. Easy Setup, Great for App Ownership Clarity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan V. | IT admin, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I find it very useful that Nudge Security tells me who's the first person who used an app. It’s nice that it gives me a full list of users in the company who use that app. I also like the aspect of app ownership, as it helps in addressing misinformation of points of contact. Setting it up was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

The status of people using it.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security to identify application ownership and solve misinformation about points of contact. It tells me who first used an app and provides a full list of company users for each app.

 ### 14. Nudge: Easy Setup, Reasonable Pricing, and Smooth Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Imran K. | Director IT and Information Security, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

Nudge is easy to use, easy to setup, the pricing was reasonable for a company our side as well and it integrated with most everything in our tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

There's nothing specific that isnt due to other platforms having limitations

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offboarding was simplified, tracking data breaches and monitoring shadow IT were huge.

 ### 15. Effective Visibility, But Overwhelming Alerts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andres H. | Monitoreo de sistemas (Lift Operator), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I like that Nudge Security gives me full visibility of SaaS applications without blocking users. This allows us to have control without being intrusive, guiding users to make safer decisions.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

It can generate many alerts. It depends quite a bit on integration.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge Security helps me have visibility and control over the SaaS ecosystem without being intrusive, guiding users to make safer decisions. Manage the risk of circulating PHI and improper access, and provide full visibility of SaaS apps.

 ### 16. Nudge Security Delivers Exceptional Visibility Into Our Digital Ecosystem

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

The most significant advantage of Nudge Security is the visibility it provides into our digital ecosystem. It allows us to proactively identify shadow IT and unmanaged services that would otherwise create significant security blind spots and compliance risks.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

At times, the frequency of the automated nudges can lead to alert fatigue among the engineering team. Fine-tuning the cadence of these communications is essential to ensure they remain helpful rather than intrusive.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of manual audits. We don't have to hunt for apps anymore. This saves us time.

 ### 17. Intuitive UI, Boosts Workflow Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno S. | Sr. Tech Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I like the UI and how easy it is to find stuff on there. It's easy for the user to know what to use, and the search bar on the main menu literally looks for anything, like a user or an app. This makes my work faster and easier.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

cant really think of one right now.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nudge Security to check who has access to what, making it easy to find the right person when I need access.

mostly the security feature and AI feature

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Sometime non accurate data and maybe missing couple integrations

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keep an eye on everything you dont have time to monitore yourself

 ### 20. User-Friendly UI with Actionable Security Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

User-friendly UI with actionable security insights. Easy Onboarding and latest security intelligence.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

Sometimes there’s too much information to act on.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great performance on risk detection and SaaS monitoring.

 ### 21. Easy-to-Follow UI and Fair Pricing, but AI Policy Pop-Up Needs Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

UI is easy to follow. Pricing is reasonable.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

AI policy acceptance (pop-up) is not working well yet.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaaS discovery

 ### 22. Improves Process, Security, and Efficiency Massively

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will F. | Head of IT & InfoSec, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

Nudge Security has a fantastic user interface making it easy to digest, find and sort through what could be an extremely large amount of information about tools in use.
It's amazing just how efficient it is at finding everything and correctly cataloguing it.
The ability to look up suppliers policies and accreditations has saved us so much time, and supply chain feature is brilliant in highlighting potential areas of concern. But that fact that it notifies me if one of our suppliers has a breach in their supply chain is just *chefs kiss. So often I would have to keep an ear out for breaches and back trace them, now Nudge does that for me.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

When trialing I noticed that it had identified a bunch of people as "technical contact" for tools, but I could not understand why as some of the people had very little to do with the product. It was then explained to me in a demo that its based on things like who has interacted with their support team the most, which now does make a bit more sense, but in most cases I have had to change the technical contact to the department head, or most often myself.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It almost completely solves our shadow IT problem, obviously if a tool is just downloaded and has no account then it's not captured by Nudge Security but for 99% of our things it is capturing them. Meaning we now know what is actually out there in use.
It also has dramatically sped up our software approval process because we can see what people are trialing, then can tell us easily if its not going ahead, and if it is we have quick access to all the relevant information we need to approve or deny it from a security and compliance POV. This has saved hours of each software approval, of which we have about 1 a week, and also has dramatically improved the process and speed for the users making them happier and more efficient.
The transparency of this new process and understanding has also made the relationship between InfoSec and our users much better as well.

 ### 23. Robust tool on the rise!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

The sales team was fantastic to work with. They quickly brought the right experts onto calls to demo the product, answer my questions, and share their vision for the product's future. I also appreciated how open they were to hearing my thoughts, suggestions, and concerns.

Nudge is a well-designed and thoughtfully developed solution for securing our SaaS environment. It identified more SaaS applications than any other product we trialed, giving us greater visibility and confidence in our security posture.

The setup process was incredibly straightforward, and the ability to start with an easy, no-commitment free trial was a game-changer.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

As a newer company in an emerging market, they are still developing a couple features that larger competitors might already offer. However, they’re actively working on these, making it a very short-term gap. Their strengths far outweigh their minor short-term shortcomings.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge is helping us find all the SaaS products we don't know about, the non-managed identities used in those SaaS apps and is helping us to start to understand the cost of SaaS in our organization.

 ### 26. Nudge Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arnab D. | Security Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

The best part about Nudge Security is that this is very easy to integrate with current enviroment

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

I have not find any dislike about Nudge security so far

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge Security introduces a groundbreaking approach to SaaS security by actively involving employees. Unlike traditional solutions, Nudge Security effectively identifies and controls unauthorized cloud applications while also preventing excessive SaaS usage.

 ### 27. Immediate value and easy standup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Earl C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Nudge Security?**

I've had a consistently positive experience with Nudge Security. Its standout feature for me is the swift deployment and the immediate, tangible benefits it brings. Its integration with gmail allows for a comprehensive inventory sweep, often faster and better than network-based / proxy solutions.

Every time I have used it at clients, we have uncovered previously undetected services. The fact that even the free version provides such an insightful snapshot of your inventory is commendable.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

For organizations aiming to effect a genuine shift in their security culture, Nudge is a potent catalyst.

However, it's essential to recognize that tools like Nudge are facilitators, not magic wands. Just installing the software won't redefine your culture.

Cultivating a security-conscious culture requires an organizational commitment.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cultural change. I wouldn't really call it a Cloud Access Security Broker - that is a bit more broad. Rather it provides a rapid inventory without having to route through a CASB.

 ### 28. Nudge is easy to deploy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

Nudge Security gives me transparent access to many accounts that I didn't even know I still had. I was especially impressed with its access to AWS accounts.

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**

There is nothing I dislike about Nudge Security. Everytime I login I see updates to accounts that have been added since the last time I login. I enjoy using it.

**What problems is Nudge Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nudge is helping me find potential customers who need help cleaning up their accounts.

 ### 29. Very simple to deploy. Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher D. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Nudge Security?**
