## NRx Reviews
  ### 1. Been using it for years

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about NRx?**

Its a well thought out program with a lot to offer. Very easy to use with even minimal training. Though not perfect, its far more user friendly and intuitive than a few other programs I've used in this industry.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

I wish I could search for things without having to capitalize them. That's about it honestly.

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its the main program we use in the pharmacy so I guess you could say that it basically helps us run the pharmacy. Without it, we couldn't do what we do.

  ### 2. NRx, needs some improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco V. | Specialty Pharmacist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about NRx?**

It's very fast, it does updates well. Lots of compatibility with third party apps. Compatible with electronic prescribing. Show's patient compliance statistics which is nice.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Can only view 1 patient at a time. No reasonable way to document every patient interaction because there's no notes function. Can only view a handful of notes at a time before having to hit a "next" page button, and you're limited in how many characters you can use in a note, basically you can only type about 1-2 sentences.

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm successfully filling prescription, and sending electronic refill requests. It lets me easily bill secondary payors and run reports on my productivity and my employees's productivity.

  ### 3. Good, but leaves much to be desired.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diane H. | Pharmacy Intern, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

It is easy to contact prescribers for refills and the POS for the software was simple and straightforward. You can checkout customers fast.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

You can’t sync medications directly on the program and therefore have to record it on paper. It also doesn’t tell you where the prescription is in processing and doesn’t help with inventory.

**Recommendations to others considering NRx:**

It is a decent system, but I would consider against it and go for a more updated system such as Pioneer.

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps get people their prescriptions in a timely manner.

  ### 4. QS1 NRx is one of the best outpatient pharmacy systems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William J. | Pharmacist, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

QS1 is an extremely user-friendly system.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Technician abilities, in a defined technician role, are too limited to appropriately function for the role of pharmacy technician in most settings.

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

QS1 NRx allows our facility to serve our customers with an appropriate level of care in a cost-effective manner.

  ### 5. It's certainly interesting...

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

I do like how quickly this software is to pick up on. It is extremely receptive to changes by any user as well.
Forced notes that pop up at the POS during cashing out is extremely helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

My least favorite feature is the autosave feature. Cannot tell you how many times I have been looking at a patient's general profile and have accidentally modified their last name unintentionally. Also I wish there was a general pop up for allergies and not having it tucked away in a secondary tab..

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Would be great if they gave managers access to see every single entry and modification by technicians/staff pharmacists as a preventative oversight measure. They may already do this and I am unaware because I am not a primary user myself.

  ### 6. Former user of qs1

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

Simple interface. Doesn’t tie up all computer resources

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Not very user friendly. Difficult to multitask since you can’t have tabs of different patients/screens

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relatively inexpensive system

  ### 7. Everlasting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jai G. | Technician, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

This new company works closely with QS1 and one of the best parts is that they can screen share with you LIVE. There's no need to shut down all the computers for a period of time in mere minutes an update can be accomplished

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

I would love for the system to have the ability to jump from screen to screen without having to stop and save your current work

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Updates are done with minutes and or with just a simple phone call

  ### 8. Good for most standard pharmacies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about NRx?**

It's fast and the gui is excellent. Managing employee privileges is nice and easy. Very very good use of interaction checks and appropriate hard stops on drug interactions, especially against the existing profile. We love the ability to hard stop on any patient for any reason.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Patient notes is borderline unusable. The only place to add random patient caveats is in the pop up, and the pop up only goes in chronological order starting from the oldest notes and isn't sortable. Also only the first 7 or so lines are available to be viewed in the pop up before you have to "page down" to the next section to see the next 7 lines of notes and you cannot go backwards. Also there's a limit on the length of these notes, and it's only 2 short lines.

**Recommendations to others considering NRx:**

Be aware of the things that i've mentioned. Also writing reports on their system is not very straightforward or intuitive and it's not a simple sql database that you can query.

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving slowness problems. The benefits we've seen are in speed of processing and accuracy of filling.

  ### 9. My experience with QS1

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

It is very user friendly and does everything needed for the pharmacy workflow. It has queues which are needed for daily operations.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

It can be better organized according to the kind of work needed to be performed

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To better efficiently help patients

  ### 10. Fairly straight forward and easy to use, but there are a lot of bugs.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2017

**What do you like best about NRx?**

I like the archiving system the best. You can scan the prescription, so if when filing the scripts one is missing, you can see what it looks like in the archives. It makes finding missing info easier.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

There are a lot of little bugs that slow the process. Sometimes you have to save the documents that were scanned in a roundabout way, because the system had an "unknown error."

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently just testing the system, so it isn't "solving" any problems, we are just looking for an alternative to the previous system.

  ### 11. Works ok, have issues on the back end

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chris h. | System Engineer (Epic Odba), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2017

**What do you like best about NRx?**

It works well for pharmacy, th users enjoy it and it’s easy to use

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Have had issues with disk space filling up quickly or after reboot there is an issue with the app

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not 100% sure, this was in place before I started

  ### 12. A great software for a low volume store

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2018

**What do you like best about NRx?**

Great software for a low volume retail pharmacy store.

**What do you dislike about NRx?**

Not ideal for a high volume store. It is not as easy to train newer employees on this software. Not very user friendly

**What problems is NRx solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is not updating to current and growing communities and pharmacies
