## About Nextretro
Nextretro is a retrospective tool for teams who want the meeting to produce decisions rather than notes. A facilitator creates a board in a few clicks, starting from a template like Start Stop Continue or 4Ls, or from custom columns. Sharing a single link is enough to bring the team in: participants join without an account, an email, or a download. Cards, votes and comments sync in real time across desktop and mobile. The session follows a guided flow of Collect, Group, Vote and Discuss. Facilitators can lock a phase to stop edits, run phase timers, and hide or reveal votes. Anonymous mode lets people contribute cards and votes without their name attached, which surfaces feedback that quieter team members would otherwise hold back. Similar cards can be merged by dragging them together. Retros end on action items rather than a document. Each item takes an owner and can be pushed to Jira, Linear or Slack, so follow-up lives in the tools the team already works in. Nextretro also exposes every board over the MCP. AI assistants including Claude, Cursor, Windsurf and VS Code can read the board, summarize recurring themes, add cards and file action items under the same facilitator permissions as any other participant. Free plans include unlimited boards, unlimited participants, voting, anonymous mode, all templates, and export to PDF or Markdown. Pro adds team workspaces, full retro history, carrying a board forward into the next retrospective, and the Jira, Linear and Slack integrations.
