"An Excellent Option to Streamline Production"

5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

I love having everything related to production in one place. With a quick glance I can check our inventory (both finished product and ingredients) or browse recipes and see what our brew schedule is Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

While Ollie does work on mobile, it is not laid out in a readable fashion. Certain pages require moving the phone to landscape in order to navigate screens. Everything else about Ollie is amazing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Providing a single place to input data and be able to reference valuable metrics. It has streamlined much of the production planning process at my brewery. I no longer have to check 17 different programs/logins in order to get an overview of the business, I can simply check Ollie Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very efficient way to run our brew house"

5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

The visual dashboard is a huge quality of life improvement and every aspect of Ollie ops/order makes my day-to-day life as a Brewer much simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

If a error is made in assigning a tank to a brew day, it's a pain to transfer the correct brew task to the corresponding tank. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping up with inventory, logging past brew days/logs to reference, and mostly giving a visual reference of what and where everything is. It also has a huge benefit of maintaining continuity amongst our brew staff so that no one feels in the dark about about what needs to be done and we can all view most anything in relation to fermentation and product status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ollie has helped us with all inventories, but mainly in the raw goods area."

5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

The ease of use. Once the inventory of everything is in place we for the first time had the ability to track all raw materials and packaging materials. In the past this was done through spreadsheets and things get forgotten and you run out. Ollie has helped fixed this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

I have the hardest time with new batch numbers when packaging. Having inventory of the same product under multiple batch/lot numbers is something we have been using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Physical inventory is the biggest thing. Building a product so that when it is packaged it removes everything from inventory, brite cans, labels, carriers. Getting the alerts when you need to order helps to never run short on anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ollie is a great way to bring numerous aspects of the brewery into a single online platform."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

We have really enjoyed the ease of use with the Ollie platform. It is very user friendly, and has been easy to train our staff on. Having access to all (most) of the pertinent information for the brewery in a single location is immensely helpful for scheduling, ordering, batch tracking and even paying taxes. The communication between Ollie Ops and Ollie Order is fantastic as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

For us, the startup on Ollie was cumbersome, with most of the back end having to be entered manually (we were unablet to get the product & recipe loaders/templates to work for us). As we look to move all of our data collection and brewlogs online, and, ideally, into Ollie, I would like to see a greater range of data points that we can collect, and new ways to record them, and ultimately greater possibilities for creating reports based on these data points for trend tracking (specifically as it pertains to brew log data). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ollie has been a huge asset in being able to manage the brewery and production remotely. With insights into the batches in progress, inventory levels, and scheduling capabilities I am able to perform my duties as a Director of Brewing Ops from 2k miles away. Being able to "view" the brewery at any given point and see what my staff is seeing is tremendously helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid experience, with quick responses and a growing catalog of features"

4/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

Ollie's interface is easy to work and and is continuing to develop. Option to upgrade to have the marketplace (not something we need since we sell mostly through distributors), and not being forced to have that option active. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

The credits to be allied to invoices and accounts is lacking. With keg deposits and keg tracking being something that impact a lot of brewery's day to day operations as well as money coming in and out the door with would be better to see credits applied directly to invoice totals vs needing another sheet of paper to reference just to see if an invoice is paid.

Ultimately a customer that returns 3 kegs and could be COD isn't going to over pay $90 to make an invoice clear on one side and have $90 be paid back at another time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Inventory management, and an invoicing system that works simply with our way of running quickbooks (we don't integrate). It's been easy to keep things flowing on the finanical side of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ollie is great but requires the time to get the value."

4/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

Ollie helps keep inventory organized and account for every cost of the goods sold big and small. Keeping track of packaged good in house and into distribution is one of the main reasons we chose to use Ollie. Its nice to seamlessly chack package logs and tack that batch all the way to service over the bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

Of course this is circustantial per brewery operation, but Ollie requires more hours than i can dedicate to it to get the full value out of it. As operations manager, I need to be both at my desk and in the back of house maintaining equipment, double checking inventory, placing orders, etc. so I find it tough to keep Ollie as up to date as it requires for its full potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ollie solved our invenotry reconciliation issues quickly once we implemnted it accross production and distribution. We were finding monthly discepencies on keg counts constantly. Now we know exactly what we have, how to pay taxes out properly and our sales team has a constant line on what inventory they have available to distribution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product for raw material tracking at a small brewer."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

Ollie has been extremely helpful in tracking our raw material inventory and generating POs for upcoming scheduled brews. It is also a fantastic tool for tracking our COGs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

The only feature I feel is missing is I would like to be able to pull up a certain grain or hop and see what recipes those particulars items are used in to determine if a reorder is needed soon. For example: I could pull up Cascade hops and it would show me it was used in XXX recipes, which if those are beers we brew often, may signal it's time to order before running short as hops generally take longer to get than grains. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

I do not need to manually use spreadsheets for inventory tracking and I don't need to manually calculate what I need to order for upcoming scheduled brews. This saves considerable time and expense of miscalculating inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use, cost effective and feature rich"

4.5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

When we were shopping for software to manage brewery production we looked at nearly every available option. Some were obviously made with big breweries in mind and the price reflected that. Other, less expensive options didn't provide the features we wanted. Ollie Ops strikes a great balance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

With recent updates, it took me awhile to get the hang out of creating products and packaging but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I do wish it sync'd with our POS system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ollie helps us manage our production schedule, raw material inventory and finished goods inventory all in one place. We even manage our barrel project through Ollie. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great software for staying organized"

4/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

It easily tracks raw material inventory and can generate reports on future purchasing needs to simplify ordering and planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

Punching in times for process steps (mash times, transfer times, hop additions, etc.) it auto saves and closes out the input box too quickly so you have to keep clicking on the input box to update the hour, then the minutes. I'm usually just batch inputting everything at the end of a brew day, not as it's going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Raw material inventory management, product tracking, product scheduling, moving product, monitoring fermentation, all in one application that allows me to save time and store information in one place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for scheduling production and tracking inventory."

4.5/5

What do you like best about Ollie?

Simplistic design is user friendly. It's easy to understand and integrate into current processes. It isn't overloaded with details or modules that the vast majority of breweries won't ever need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ollie?

There are occasional redunancies when it comes to creating/ordering/adjusting items in inventory. The only thing I'm having consistent confusion about is yeast harvesting/repitching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ollie solving and how is that benefiting you?

Ollie is great for tracking inventory and scheduling production. It's great for keeping all information in one spot - raw ingredient and finshed goods inventory, beer recipes as well as individual batches. It makes it easy to review what changes were made with every batch of a particular beer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
