New Innovations is a residency management software solution designed to support graduate medical education (GME) programs with centralized tools for managing resident and program data, accreditation, reimbursement, and operational workflows. The platform enables institutions to track trainee progress and program performance using evaluations, ACGME Milestones, Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), work hours, case and procedure logs, conference attendance, and scholarly activity. Institution- and program-level dashboards, along with Annual Program Evaluation (APE) tools, provide visibility into accreditation data and performance trends to support continuous improvement. New Innovations includes scheduling capabilities for academic years, rotations, call schedules, and short-term assignments, with configurable schedule views and automated feeds into work hour logs. The system also supports resident onboarding, credentialing, and compliance management to help ensure trainees meet institutional, regulatory, and accrediting body requirements. For financial and administrative reporting, New Innovations automates billing and IRIS reporting to support CMS reimbursement and affiliate funding. The platform tracks full-time equivalents (FTEs) and generates finance-ready reports, helping institutions manage and report on trainee-related costs and funding. New Innovations manages over $6.2 billion in Medicare/CMS reimbursements annually. The solution also offers a secure mobile app and mobile web access, allowing residents and fellows to manage work hours, procedure logging, evaluations, direct observations, and conference attendance from anywhere.
