"Powerful DLP With Granular Control and Strong Data Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

What I like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector is its powerful DLP capabilities, intuitive user interface, and granular control over data transfers across endpoints. The solution integrates well with existing security environments, delivers reliable performance, and provides strong visibility into sensitive data movement. Its responsive support team and straightforward onboarding process help accelerate deployment, while the compliance and risk reduction benefits deliver strong ROI. The platform’s intelligent policy enforcement and data discovery capabilities further enhance overall data protection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

Netwrix Endpoint Protector is a robust DLP solution, but some advanced policy configurations and reporting workflows can be complex and require additional fine-tuning. Enhancements in automation, integrations, and user experience would make day-to-day administration even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Easy to Manage, and Great Control Over Upload Blocking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

This product is user-friendly and easy to manage. It covers all the channels, and the best part is that you can block uploads by default while excluding only specific URLs when needed. That setup also makes it easier to compare with other solutions. Overall, this product provides a single console to manage services for a DLP solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

Over the last two years, we’ve noticed that when new updates are released for the EPP client or the EPP server, issues tend to surface that weren’t present in the previous version. The same setup used to be stable, but after an upgrade, problems we had already identified sometimes reappear. We also test with a custom client, and after upgrading we occasionally see different results than before, even though the setup hasn’t changed. This is something I dislike on the Netwrix side.

Another concern is the Content Aware Alert configuration. In my view, having it only policy-based is fine, but based on our experience we also need file type–based alert configuration in Endpoint Protector. We discussed this with the Netwrix team, and they said that, for now, only policy-based configuration is available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ryan Oistacher of Netwrix Endpoint Protector

Thank you for the 4.5 star review! We're thrilled to know that the least privilege model of blocking everything except approved URLs has been beneficial to your organization. I also want to take a moment to thank you for your candid feedback regarding new releases and alert configurations for file types. I've shared this this information with our engineering and product organization so that we can improve our QA processes. If you'd like to continue the discussion or provide any other feedback, please feel free to reach out to us directly at the Netwrix Community (link below)!

"Strong Endpoint and Content-Aware DLP to Prevent Data Leaks"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

Based on my assessment and our organization’s use case, we mainly use it to prevent data leaks at the endpoint level, which is where many real-world breaches actually happen. Another feature we rely on is content-aware DLP. It’s not just device blocking; it goes further by inspecting the content itself, so it can stop specific sensitive data from being exposed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

Sometimes it gives false positives and ends up overblocking. Because it’s content-aware, it can occasionally flag or block legitimate activity, and it doesn’t do it subtly. When that happens, we have to spend time constantly tuning the policies; if they aren’t tuned well, it can feel heavy-handed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Larisa Muntean-Cocis of Netwrix Endpoint Protector

Thank you Rohit for your thoughtful review. We're glad the content-aware DLP and endpoint protection are delivering value for your organization. We noted your feedback on false positives and policy tuning, and this is exactly the kind of input that helps us improve. We're actively working on enhancing our tuning capabilities so detection catches threats without the friction. Your CSM is the right first call for policy optimization, or reach out to support@netwrix.com for direct assistance.

"Protection for your business"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

The endpoint client doesn't take up too much space or resources, but it does the job great in protecting the endpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

Some PII information (like Canadian social security numbers) can give false positives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Larisa Muntean-Cocis of Netwrix Endpoint Protector

Thanks for the review. The lightweight footprint and strong protection are clearly doing their job. We see the false positives on Canadian SIN detection and that's frustrating, so we can help tune the rules. Reach out to the Netwrix Community and we'll work through it with you.

"Works perfectly for our organization"
5/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

We use a very limited part of the EP functionalities, yet. Mostly focusing on the USB enable/disable functions. However, we are looking forward to start using DLP functions as well. So far - so good with our overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

There is nothing that we dislike - whatever functions we need - we have been able to use it or find the needed information. Might be interesting to view more modern UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps our data safe"
4/5
What do you like best about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

It does a solid job at blocking unauthorized USB access and keeping sensitive data from being copied or leaked. Once it’s set up, it mostly runs in the background and doesn’t interrupt users much, which is a big win. The alerts and reports are also useful when we need to track what’s going on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Netwrix Endpoint Protector?

The initial setup took a bit of effort, especially figuring out the right policies for different teams. Some parts of the UI could be simpler too and also the documentation could be clearer in a few areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
