I appreciate NetWatch OPS for its ability to automatically create alerts and graphs, which significantly saves me time and effort compared to our previous monitoring software. Unlike before, I no longer have to manually set up each alert or graph, as NetWatch OPS automatically includes these features once a device is entered into the system. This automation frees me from the tedious task of manually determining what needs monitoring, allowing me instead to focus on more critical tasks. Additionally, NetWatch OPS offers much more robust reporting and monitoring features, which are essential for our secure environment. This includes the ability to monitor individual ports across all our switches and receive alerts whenever a port changes status, enhancing our network security management. The setup was relatively easy and while there is a small learning curve I find the software as intuitive as any other monitoring software I have used. I find the network mapping feature in NetWatch OPS to be less advanced than I'd like. It provides a graphical view of the network, which is helpful, but I wish it offered more capabilities, such as the ability to view traffic flowing in different directions more comprehensively. I have been able to create traffic maps that change color based on bandwidth which has met my needs for now. I honeslty don't dislike anything about the software. The dashboards that were created exclusively to our wants and needs are extremely helpful in quickly determining any current or potential problems with our network and equipment. The only issue I've found so far is that each time we log onto a server using RDP, we got an email of what IP address accessed that server from Netwatch. When we log in through our remote software called Dameware, there is no IP address associated. This is an issue we've discussed and they are working on the solution. Custom dashboards designed to my needs make morning routine checking fast. I use the application every morning. I can create my own dashboards or edit existing ones as I need. The intelligence and dashboards for NetWatch are very intuitive. They have put a lot of time and research into their AI model and you can certainly tell. The team has worked with and is able to create many integrations with existing tools and is a great way to achieve a single pane of glass for monitoring and responding to your current security stack. The Dashboards allow us to view our whole network from one display. We can view Servers, Firewalls, Switches, UPS outputs, how long devices have been powered on, firmware updates, etc. Whatever you want to see on your network, the team at Netwatch will make IT happen.
