## About NetShield
COSGrid NetShield is an advanced Network Detect and Response (NDR) solution that utilizes big data and machine learning technologies. It offers both real-time and historical visibility into network activities, along with various features such as baselining, correlation, anomaly and threat detection, and threat mitigation. Benefits: Real-time Traffic Analysis: Constantly examines raw network traffic and flow records to establish a baseline of normal network behavior. Threat Detection: Utilizes machine learning and other analytical techniques that go beyond traditional signature-based approaches to identify suspicious network traffic. Automated Response: Analyzes the traffic within the network to detect lateral movements, and can automatically initiate response actions to counter potential threats.

**What do you like best about NetShield?**

The NetShield is extremely simple to setup and use with very little configuration / integration required, unlike true 802.1x systems where other components are required (such as Radius servers or certificates).  This simplicity means it is a great solution for smaller businesses who maybe have no NAC at all currently.

**What do you dislike about NetShield?**

The NetShield itself does what it is designed to do.  The only issue is that the poison ARP approach of NAC relies on detected a rogue device that has already connected to the network.  The reliability of detecting the device is therefore down to the configuration of the current network.  Conversely, if you ever wanted to disable NetShield, this means there is nothing more to do that shutting the appliance down or disconnecting it.

**What problems is NetShield solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NetShield solves the problem of blocking unauthorised devices on the network in an extremely simple method with minimal configuration requirements.

**What problems is NetShield solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solve my cybersecurity issues by providing robust protection against online threats, malware, and malicious activities. While I don't directly benefit from it, users experience improved digital security, reduced risk of data breaches, and enhanced peace of mind when using NetShield.
