But when you have issues they will also tell you, your site is good when you literally witness the issue on your computer screen. **What do you dislike about Netfirms?** When netfirms first launched it was a decent server. Now it has become one of the slowest with many server issues. Once you set up the server you will witness poor server connectivity. **What problems is Netfirms solving and how is that benefiting you?** N/A moving all 10 clients off their server asap. I was the first one to move now I need to inform my clients. ### 2. They follow the scripts, but do not understand some very basic principles of Customer Care and Business to Business Relationships. Their staff have made some horrible mistakes in handling my account. which have taken days to resolve. **Recommendations to others considering Netfirms:** If you have very straightforward needs for simple Domain Registration, then it is a great place to start. However, be aware that they will charge you automatically for Privacy Protection without even telling specifically which domains they are charging you for, and it is difficult to find out this information on your own. I have found - for my own protection - it is best to use their Chat Support so that an actual Transcript of conversations can be obtained for future reference, because there is very inconsistent continuity in handling your account and calling back to resolve unresolved issues. **What problems is Netfirms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently, I use Netfirms for quick domain registration, and I have a number of names with them already, and it is simple to log in and add more within minutes. ### 6. I usually have only one or two active sites, but register many domains for future plans. I've been with Netfirms for nearly 10 years and have had very few problems, and have in fact recommended it to several clients over the years. There are many options for add-ons, as well as different software packages and applications that can be integrated with sites residing with Netfirms, most at no additional cost. **What do you dislike about Netfirms?** Sometimes there are glitches with domain registrations, but nothing that couldn't be resolved with a support person on the phone, or with their live chat. I've been pretty satisfied overall. There is usually ample notification of any outages or service interruptions. They are partnered with some WYSIWYG web design platforms, but the cost is usually about the same for no real advantage of purchasing the add-on through Netfirms. **Recommendations to others considering Netfirms:** This is affordable hosting with lots of options. I really enjoy the services they offer, as well as flexible hosting plans. They are very competitive in the area of domain registration cost as well. They aren't the cheapest, but what they offer is reliability and choice for users. **What problems is Netfirms solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multiple site hosting and domain registrations for a suitable cost. I've enjoyed quality hosting where I could change my plan according to my business needs. ### 8. That was some time ago and since then netfirms has kept up with comparable plans and services to the services that I was using. **What do you dislike about Netfirms?** There isn't really a much to dislike about netfirms. **What problems is Netfirms solving and how is that benefiting you?** I solved the problem of purchasing a .ca domain and while that is not necessary now it has served me for 10+ years and I have migrated a few of my hosted sites to their systems. ### 9. It is helpful to know when I'm running out of space and need to delete older/irrelevant emails. **What do you dislike about Netfirms?** The system is clunky overall and I do not find it to be user friendly. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the spam folder. Netfirms is not set up intuitively, it is my least favorite email system that I have used to date.
