quickdesk Reviews & Product Details

QuickDesk is an industrial remote operations platform that gives maintenance teams, automation integrators, and OT/IT departments everything they need to manage distributed plants without flying engineers out. The platform spans edge hardware, cloud software, client applications, and an open API ecosystem — so you can start with one QuickDesk Pro gateway on a single site and scale to a globally managed fleet across hundreds of plants. The four layers of the QuickDesk platform: ▸ QuickDesk Pro — Edge gateway hardware DIN-rail industrial box with 4G / WiFi / LAN Tri-Net Failover. Three jobs in one device: browser-based IP-KVM for SCADA / HMI / industrial PCs, transparent remote passthrough for PLC programming (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron), and Modbus RTU/TCP → MQTT edge data acquisition. Industrial-grade: -20~70°C, green Phoenix terminal block, integrated status LCD. ▸ QuickDesk Cloud — Centralized fleet management Web-based console for managing every QuickDesk Pro in your fleet. Group by site, monitor network status at a glance, push firmware OTA, manage user access (RBAC + SSO), and audit remote sessions. Built for IT to manage OT. ▸ QuickDesk Client — Cross-platform engineer application Lightweight client (Windows / Mac / Linux) that engineers run on their laptop. Establishes the transparent remote passthrough to the PLC's RJ45 port, so their local TIA Portal / Studio 5000 / GX Works sees the remote PLC as if on their desk. Why QuickDesk: Most teams glue together 2-3 separate tools (IP-KVM box + VPN router + edge gateway) to do what QuickDesk does in one platform. We built QuickDesk because a 14-hour flight shouldn't be required to fix a 20-minute PLC fault. Best for: Industrial maintenance teams, automation integrators, OT/IT in manufacturing, energy & utility operators, cross-border factory IT managing overseas plants. Get a live demo: quickdesk.com
