# Which booking systems are most trusted by restaurant professionals based on user reviews?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi G2 community, which <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/restaurant-reservations">restaurant reservation booking systems</a> are most trusted by restaurant professionals based on user reviews? I focused on feedback from restaurant managers, owners, general managers, food and beverage leaders, and front-of-house staff rather than looking only at overall scores.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A few different trust signals stood out.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><strong>For established day-to-day restaurant operations</strong></p><ul><li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/opentable-for-restaurants/reviews"><strong>OpenTable for Restaurants</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Managers trust its reservation controls, guest information, integrations, and customer support. Cost is the most common trade-off mentioned.</li></ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><strong>For usability and guest management</strong></p><ul><li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sevenrooms/reviews"><strong>SevenRooms</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Restaurant professionals describe it as fast, reliable, and easy to navigate, with strong guest profiles and floor-management tools.</li></ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><strong>For responsive support</strong></p><ul><li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/umai/reviews"><strong>UMAI</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Restaurant managers and food-and-beverage leaders repeatedly mention easy booking management, drag-and-drop workflows, and responsive support when issues come up.</li></ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><strong>For simple reservation workflows</strong></p><ul><li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/eat-app-eat-app/reviews"><strong>Eat App</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Managers praise consolidated bookings, straightforward guest tracking, and helpful live support, though a few say the interface can take time for new users.</li></ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"><strong>For event-heavy restaurants</strong></p><ul><li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/tock/reviews"><strong>Tock</strong></a><strong>:</strong> General managers and front-of-house teams value reservations, prepaid experiences, guest communication, and useful support, with a somewhat steeper learning curve for certain workflows.</li></ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">The trust pattern is pretty practical. Restaurant professionals seem to value systems that stay easy during busy service, keep guest information organized, and provide fast help when something breaks.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For restaurant teams using these every day, what earns your trust most over time: ease of training, reliability during peak service, responsive support, or how well the platform handles guest data and repeat visits?</p>

&lt;p&gt;Reliability during peak service would earn my trust most. A reservation platform can be easy to train on and have excellent guest profiles, but those benefits matter less if hosts can’t depend on it during the dinner rush. I’d want fast table updates, accurate availability, and dependable performance when the restaurant is at its busiest, with responsive support as the fallback when something does go wrong.&lt;/p&gt;
