What is N-Sight Endpoint Management, and what problem is it built to solve?

N-Sight Endpoint Management is used to monitor and manage endpoints from a central console, particularly across multiple customer or organizational environments. It helps IT teams check device health, provide remote support, and automate routine work such as patching and maintenance.

What customer support options does N-Sight Endpoint Management provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through direct channels including phone, chat, and email/help desk. Users describe helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive assistance, particularly when they can reach the right support team; experiences are mixed, with some noting slow replies or difficulty getting an issue resolved.

What is the experience like for teams switching to N-Sight Endpoint Management from another tool?

Switching to N-Sight Endpoint Management has been driven by the need for broader RMM functionality, simpler setup, better monitoring and remote access, or a more consolidated toolset. It has replaced a mix of competing RMM platforms and remote-support tools, including products such as Datto, Kaseya, NinjaOne, Atera, and TeamViewer. The move can bring endpoint management, patching, automation, and remote support into a more central workflow, although some teams still encounter learning effort or reliability concerns with patching, integrations, or remote access.

What features or capabilities could make N-Sight Endpoint Management even more useful?

N-Sight Endpoint Management could be more useful with stronger reporting and a more streamlined experience for configuring and tracking work. Recurring improvement requests include:
  • More flexible reporting: Add customizable reports, clearer exports, and more client-ready summaries.
  • A more modern, easier-to-navigate interface: Make settings and frequently used tools easier to find.
  • More dependable patch management: Improve reliability, configuration options, and explanations when an update fails.
  • Clearer automation feedback: Show task progress and results more promptly so teams can tell whether scripts and tasks ran successfully.
  • Stronger Mac and mobile support: Improve consistency and feature coverage for Mac endpoints and mobile use.

Is N-Sight Endpoint Management considered safe and secure for handling data?

Users find N-Sight Endpoint Management useful for security-related work such as monitoring device health, tracking patch status, reviewing vulnerabilities, and coordinating endpoint protection. Confidence can be affected by reports of patching or security-agent reliability problems and occasional friction with authentication or integrations, so teams should validate those workflows against their own security requirements.

What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

What I like best about N-able N-Sight RMM is having a centralized platform to monitor and manage multiple devices, check hardware and software status, and troubleshoot issues remotely. The ability to monitor system health, manage patches, review installed applications, and identify devices that need attention helps streamline IT operations and makes it easier to maintain systems across the organization. What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

One thing I dislike about N-able N-Sight RMM is that some tasks, such as identifying devices missing specific applications or creating compliance filters, can be more complicated than they should be. It can take extra time to find the right settings and generate the information needed. Improving the search, filtering, and reporting capabilities would make the platform more intuitive and efficient to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive RMM Platform for Managing Multiple Client Environments"
5/5
What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I like having a centralized platform to manage multiple clients, locations, and devices. The monitoring, remote access, scripting, automation, patch management, and reporting capabilities make it easier to maintain systems and troubleshoot issues remotely. I also appreciate the ability to organize devices, monitor their health, review hardware and software inventory, and take action without having to connect to each machine individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

Some of the more advanced capabilities require additional integrations or separately licensed features, which can make it difficult to have everything managed from one place. I would prefer more functionality to be included directly within the platform rather than relying on multiple products or add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface can feel outdated, and in some cases onboarding devices and assets can fail, for example installs of EDR sometimes fail. For the most part this isn't an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely Comprehensive Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I own an IT company with clients across a wide range of industries. I really like being able to go to one console and see, at a glance, which servers, workstations, and other devices are having problems. In the past, I had to log into each device and review various reports just to identify and correct issues. Now I can spot problems quickly and address them much faster.

N-able N-Sight RMM has a new Vulnerabilities Report that is excellent. I can view vulnerabilities by customer, device, and vulnerability, and I can also see whether a vulnerability is unresolved, whether they have ransomware, and more.

Using this report to identify and then correct vulnerabilities has increased my company’s billing hours. It’s surprising how many vulnerabilities show up on a weekly basis. I’ve also discovered that clients had installed software I wasn’t aware of, and I was able to have them uninstall it or update it. The report also flagged a lot of older software that had become obsolete.

I also receive daily emailed reports of issues, so even when I’m on the road, I can stay on top of what’s happening.

N-Able N-sight RMM is a tool every IT administrator should have. I use it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I would better format the vulnerabilities report. It would be nice if it retained my columns instead of it's own. I would also increase the number of viewable rows and reduce the size of the graphs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

The web user interface can sometimes feel slightly dated and occasionally experiences lag when refreshing device telemetry statuses. The scripting and automation engine also has a minor learning curve for setting up complex custom tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use - Extremely effective remote management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

Highlight the continued ease of use, all of our team find it incredibly easy to use and intuitive.

The fact they haven't tried to innovate unnecessarily is a nice change from other software companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I still think the reporting could be improved upon, allowing more reports to be pulled out with more variables as at the moment its still very pull a whole report and filter it down yourself, usually in excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stable platform with good support and documentation"
4/5
What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

The platform has had very few outages and when they do have an issue it's communicated better than most I've dealt with. Also, documentation is pretty extensive and if you cannot find out how to make something work their support is pretty responsive. Overall, no serious issues after 4 years of using the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

Reporting on the platform is pretty lackluster and the UI can feel rather clunky at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I use N-Able to remotely access camera and access control servers. It's great tool for easily configuring and maintaining the systems that I work on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-Sight Endpoint Management?

I can occasionally be unreliable. I sometimes have the N-Able service crash on a remote computer which requires a reboot of the computer onsite to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
