Speak in depth to the support team at MySchool and you will learn everything very quickly. There is so much this system can do that we are slow to fully utilize this system but we are getting there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MySchool Student Information System solving and how is that benefiting you?

During these times of at home learning we have used the system for keeping track of attendance. We have also used reports to download student addresses and emails making it easy for student family contact. One of the benefits is creating and posting school announcements. The system is easy to understand even for IT beginners and software amateurs with very helpful support if there is something users don't understand. It includes functions for student, course, school, staff management and generating reports and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MySchool Student Information System solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to systematically place students to their respective classes and courses as well as have grades and reports generated is a huge benefit. MS is a modern web application built with teacher and administrator workflows in mind. It addresses tasks that typically are the time-stealers and frustration-causers and makes so many day-to-day operations quicker and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

MS is a relatively new platform that is still in active development. On-boarding and setup were not straightforward and bugs are encountered from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The MS team is very responsive to customers who know what they want. Be clear about your systems and processes before you begin to set up a MS platform. Although the system itself is intuitive, the vocabulary is not at all. Certain concepts, like the difference between a "subject", "class" and "course", are foundational to using MySchool but are poorly documented. Ask your onboard representative LOTS of questions about WHAT things are, since you are unlikely to easily figure them out yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-MS provides a truly customizable reporting platform that serves our unique needs perfectly. -The Information system is quick to navigate and simplifies administrative tasks and communication. - The online portal for students and parents is becoming a hub for directional communication that is replacing paper and email-based interactions. What do you like best about MySchool Student Information System?

It is a very good means of organising students into courses, and subsequently communicating with parents within those specific courses (thereby eliminating the need for mailing lists, class lists etc as separate files). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) Timetabling programming does not currently fit out school's needs. This means we are losing out on what could be a great feature of MySchool.

2) When issuing invoices, bills are not automatically generated based on courses that a student is enrolled for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MySchool Student Information System?

The system is quite user friendly and you can set it up to work for your schools needs specifically. Our students are able to view their timetables, assignments, grades at anytime with their devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySchool Student Information System?

Currently unable to import our timetable schedules into MySchool - have to enter it all manually (PS - Gr. 12). Find some glitches when users access system via certain smartphones (the newer version of MySchool should fix this). What do you like best about MySchool Student Information System?

- The team support (Malta support team). Fast support, high reliability, high competence, log in of future updates requests

- The variety of functionalities available (from registration to payments, module content sharing, reporting system, assignments sharing, mentoring, ecc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySchool Student Information System?

- The student can interact very little with the system (for example, no files can be uploaded from the student side, Turnitin cannot be integrated, the student mainly has "viewing" rights in the system only)

- Although the team does great work to try to adapt the system to the school requirements, the setup is quite rigid

- Lack of coordination between the modules (if a student is added to a module, it will not be automatically added to the course materials of that module). Maintenance implies a lot of input from the administration team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've got some good news regarding Turnitin. We're gradually introducing MySchool version 1.8 across the board which comes with Turnitin integration.

We have found that the increased parental involvement which springs from parental access to data has improved our relationship with parents. We also find that the knowledge that parents are following their children's progress means teachers are more motivated to be regular in their marking.
