I started using the Product for our 50 Year High School reunion in January 25. All during the setup and configuration we ran into problems and bugs with the system and poor system performance. We went live in April, system speed was better but continual problems when Release of Software were moved into Production. I asked the HELPdesk for a release schedule and notes, they laughed and told me don't even get that information. Not Acceptable in book. One release totally disable the Registration of new Members on a system Live for months. There Quality Assurance testing is a JOKE... The Same release Disabled a Google Map that Displayed the relative location of classmate. This is a Standard Feature of their system. Now I learned to do routine test reviews of all our Website pages bi weekly.... Well their Latest un Announced and un Documented Release Just Broke the Google MAP again. It failed to Display. More tickets to the HELPdesk. A day Later the map got back.... BUT not PIN for locations of the Classmate. What a JOKE of a an Organization. How do you Break a CORE Feature in your Product TWICE with you POOR Quality TESTED Releases... Move forward with this Product at YOUR OWN Risks. **What problems is MyEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Take payment for the sales of event tickets ### 2. It is very easy to start out with out of the gate. It is easy to use. Nothing too complicated to learn. Great site!!! **What do you dislike about MyEvent?** It isn't that easy to link with social media. I have had trouble with it. I don't know if it is because I am using the Free version. They give only a 7 day trial of the paid package, I don't think that is long enough to get to know the site and that you need to upgrade. **What problems is MyEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps get the word out of events and manages donations for fundraising gives good records on that. Love the payment for ticket option too, even though I don't use it that often. ### 3. Uploading photos is a great way to really get your work and needs out to your donors. **What problems is MyEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?** Direct Payment options. ### 4. The overall quality of this tool has helped us to create a beautiful resource that has very positively impacted our entire organization. **What do you dislike about MyEvent?** Some of the concepts used are a little bit more advanced than a few of my users could handle, but nevertheless were eventually grasped. With time, this tool became totally invaluable to each member of the team assigned to use it. **What problems is MyEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has allowed my team to take our operations to a higer level of function. It has improved our professionalism and our outward public appearance. ### 6. I've not found it nearly as beneficial to planning parties, weddings, and special events as far as use in contacting vendors, however for the use of selling tickets or gathering donations for a corporate fundraiser, this site is excellent! **What do you dislike about MyEvent?** I do use other event planning software as well, but only because this particular site is best suited to for ticketed events and fundraisers--which I do some of. But, I have many events that don't require tickets, nor is there much, if any fundraising at all. **Recommendations to others considering MyEvent:** If having a fundraiser or event that requires ticketed admission, this site is perfect for you. However, if you are planning an event and looking for a site to find vendors to work with, this is not my top selection for that. **What problems is MyEvent solving and how is that benefiting you?** This site makes for a very easy setup for fundraisers and ticketed events. In the past, there had to be phone calls and mailings, and all types of things that had to be processed in order to do a ticketed or fundraising event.
