Moss is incredibly easy to use and really convenient. As a neurodivergent person, dealing with paperwork and reimbursement forms is a real struggle, and it often left me feeling depleted and overwhelmed—not to mention it sometimes tested the patience of my coworkers in accounting. Moss has been such a relief: the matching receipts function feels like magic, and it’s genuinely nice to have everything in one place. Truly life-changing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Truly can't name anything............... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick and effortless recording of expenses. Take a photo of a receipt and it's automatically matched to the card transaction, so a task that used to take ages now takes seconds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Had an issue initially with setting up reimbursements. Had to set up account details online rather than on app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Moss as an employee in our company for expenses, reimbursements, and receipt management, and I am really pleasantly surprised.

What I particularly like is that I can quickly upload receipts and no longer have to deal with unnecessary paperwork or lengthy email approvals. This makes everything run much more structured and transparent.

A big advantage for me is the ease of use: approvals and reimbursements often go through faster than before. I also have a better overview of company cards and expense summaries and feel significantly less stress with billing.

Overall, I like that the tool saves me time in my workday and makes processes simpler that were previously rather tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Of course, there is a small disadvantage: At the beginning, the adjustment took some getting used to. However, this is probably quite normal with new software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is designed to be very intuitive, modern, and clear. Both on the desktop and in the mobile app, you can find your way around immediately, which makes daily use extremely easy.

The platform offers excellent interfaces to common accounting programs like DATEV. The data export runs smoothly and saves the finance team a tremendous amount of manual effort. The app and the web platform run stably, load extremely quickly, and transactions are displayed in real-time without delay. There are no noticeable delays in the system.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Through the automation of document verification and the avoidance of errors, the costs for the tool are quickly amortized. The customer service responds quickly, competently, and is very helpful. The onboarding was also well-structured, so the entire team was able to use the cards without any problems in a very short time.

The AI-supported recognition of documents works impressively precisely. Invoice data such as amount, merchant, and tax rates are automatically read correctly, making manual typing almost completely unnecessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The web version on the computer offers slightly more features than the mobile app. It would be great if the app had the same range of features for invoice management in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Beyond being able to upload receipts instantly, which has already saved us a huge amount of time and hassle, the ability to easily categorise expenses and see spending in real time has made a big difference for us. It gives us a much clearer picture of where money is going across projects and teams, without needing to rely on spreadsheets or manual tracking.

Having that visibility day to day has really helped with decision making, and it also makes it much easier to stay on top of budgets and plan ahead with more confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the auto fill features can feel a bit clunky at times, and it can be frustrating when errors come up in certain fields that you cannot fix without the right permissions. The lack of flexibility when you need to make changes can occasionally slow things down and create small bottlenecks in what is otherwise a smooth process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the simple user interface and the concept of using one card per shop or category. The automatic assignment of receipts to transactions that I have initiated is fantastic because I hardly have to take any action myself. I appreciate the side effect that everything can now function digitally - no more printouts necessary. I particularly like how invoices that I receive via email can be forwarded to Moss | Spend smarter. I also use the app, which is just as great as the website. The initial setup of Moss | Spend smarter was very easy. Overall, I would highly recommend Moss | Spend smarter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Refunds of daily allowances after business trips are somewhat more complicated and the only part where I have to click in Moss myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Moss is extremely intuitive and well-structured. Booking business trips and paying with the company credit card works seamlessly, and submitting personal expenses is quick and easy. The automatic receipt recognition works reliably and saves a lot of time. I also really appreciate the smooth integration between the web app and the iPhone app, as well as the ability to add the Moss card to Apple Wallet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One small drawback is that mistakenly created reimbursements cannot be deleted — even if they haven’t been saved yet. It would be helpful to have an option to edit or remove them before finalizing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Moss | Spend smarter's good UI and useful preset features, which make the software valuable and easy to use. The OCR on invoices and automatic matching of receipts are great because they simplify the expense management process. As we're a small company without an internal accountant, the software's pre-accounting capabilities are a big help, allowing normal employees to handle these tasks and save time. Additionally, the feature to export receipts to Datev is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have small issues with receipts matching - however nothing major. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the accessible UI and the simplicity of Moss | Spend smarter, as well as its capability to build complex processes. The clear UI makes it easy for team members to submit card requests and upload receipts without needing help from finance. I can set up approval rules that route requests to the correct department leads based on spending limits. It also ensures we have a review-gate that acts as a barrier for software expenses and acquiring new tools while providing a clear overview of our payments and tools. The manual payments that are not credit card-based, like contracts requiring wire transfers, are not easy to manage in Moss | Spend smarter. I tried to find a solution for this because I want my spend management to be as simple and straightforward as with credit cards in Moss, but it doesn't seem possible there. I like that you can see the process your requests go through; also I find very useful that you can attach a receipt and it gets matched automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes it still takes me a minute to remember (even though I do it once a month) to know where the receipt gets attached to be automatically matched. I think this could be on MyMoss or maybe MyMoss could be customizable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
