For any video presentation or live video app, like Zoom or Google Meet, my first step is to use mmhmm as my camera which instantly gives me the ability to control the size and position of my live image. After this, I load a slide deck from a powerpoint, or I share my screen of an application or a website I want to talk about. Mmhmm gives me the power to position my image over the displayed slide deck or website. I do this to be able to point at material as I talk about it with my own fingers. This functionally is very natural and powerful for capturing audience attention. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** The aspect of mmhmm that I am not satisfied with is that sometimes there is a delay of a few milliseconds of my live image when using mmhmm as virtual camera with some software. I can see a delay of my lips moving and I have noticed it the most when using Classin. I also dislike that there is an artificial cut-off where the virtual camera cannot capture my image. For example, when I lift my arm straight up or too far to the edge of the virtual camera, my arm will look cut off. I then have to adjust the virtual camera image size, to allow my fingers to be seen pointing at the object on my background slide. I hope one day that this functionality can improve, but it may be a computer hardware issue or an issue of the camera itself. **What problems is Airtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mmhmm allows me to teach better classes to students in China. Because I use a pdf that is more than 300MB as lesson material, I am unable to load this easily as a slide deck. Instead, I share my screen, to allow me to share the lesson material in the background of my virtual camera using mmhmm as my virtual camera. Also, mmhmm is a native app on Apple's M1 silicon architecture, allowing for better speed and functionality on my M1 MacBook Pro. Mmhmm is very useful for teaching and for making educational material. I have also used mmhmm for making presentation of apps that are useful for education. ### 3. I really don't have time to do a lot of configurations, I was looking for something that just worked and worked well with little setup on my side. mmhmm did just that. I mainly use it while leading company wide training events, or demos to customers where I can embed the presentation or talking points around me on the screen and be engaged with my audience which really makes a huge difference than just presenting boring slides. I do love that mmhmm works just by installing it, selecting your camera and thats it. Add backgrounds, add content, do whatever you need and easily adjust it while in the middle of your meeting. I did have to reach out to customer support one time and they responded very quickly, handled my issue (which was my issue and not mmhmm's) and helped me. Overall great software, I signed up for the yearly plan based on my success with this. Super easy to install and use. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** What I dislike is the lack of customizations in some areas, HOWEVER that is also what I love. For example, I wish I could easily build a lower third that I could customize on the fly, I haven't found a way to do this yet. **What problems is Airtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping me create engaging demos and presentations by putting me front and center and allowing the content to be the star, while I am still on screen and can point and move around the screen. With mmhmm, you control how you appear on the screen. No longer are you confined to a tiny corner of the screen when doing a screenshare in Zoom. With mmhmm, you have the freedom to position yourself anywhere on the screen so that YOU shine when presenting your content. I can set up the presentation ahead of time with slides, backgrounds, special effects etc and then use shortcut keys to move from one scene to the next. The students love it - it really improves engagement. My company has a heavy asynchronous (i.e. recorded video) culture, so we rely on a lot of video content to keep everyone on the same page. mmhmm allows me to make videos and live presentations that are far more engaging and interactive than what I could otherwise do with just Zoom or Loom. I love that mmhmm allows me to make short recordings and put segmentations together (I don't have to record the whole videos at once like I do with Loom), it's a huge differentiator. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** 1. I love the built-in recording functionality, which produces videos that automatically include bookmarks. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** The virtual camera can lag a little when pulled into third-party tools like Microsoft Teams, so make sure your computer's memory is sufficient. The video editor could also be more precise. The "Studio" version pings an Internet server whenever you first launch, and my IT department has not been cooperative in getting it whitelisted, so I have to log off my VPN, launch the program, then log back on -- it's not ideal, and it's something the "Desktop" version doesn't do. **What problems is Airtime solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use mmhmm primarily in our daily standup calls to stand out amid a sea of employees scattered across the country. My presentations, however, or more dynamic and engaging because of mmhmm. No more merely talking over boring slide decks while hoping people don't tune out. I can put myself on the screen with my charts, graphs, fun backgrounds, and more, and become an entertaining show. I can also record presentations to easily share with people who may not attend live. It's not as robust a video creation tool like, say Camtasia, but it is much faster and easier, and a better choice for me most of the time. ### 20. As well as give polished, engaging and creative presentations. It's easy to learn & use. It offers a lot of fun things you can do to make yourself and your presentation memorable. I like that I can record multiple takes of specific slides/scenes for recorded videos. This makes redoing parts of my presentation very easy without having to rerecord the entire thing. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** While it is easy to learn, using it live during a meeting or presentation requires a bit of muscle memory for it to look smooth. Also wish there was a way to control my mmhmm presentation from within a Zoom meeting and not have to switch between the two apps. Distributed work - our team is globally distributed (17 countries) and we use mmhmm to keep our team and different units coordinated - standard information-oriented meetings are recorded and distributed. Lets our teammates for whom english is not first language watch multiple times as well. **What do you dislike about Airtime?** In sync meetings I often get questions about how they can get mmhmm :-).
