Automation is easily achieved by integrating with SSIS (SQL Server integration services). Also, the integration with the remaining MS SQL Server BI stack is seamless including the Master Data management framework. **What do you dislike about Microsoft Data Quality Services?** Data Quality client needs some bug fixes, improvements, and upgrades. Nothing has changed in the app since its release in 2012. It seems Microsoft / SQL Server team doesn't care fo it anymore. Also, there is no apparent reason not to be part of the standard edition of SQL Server, which would help increase its adoption by the market. **What problems is Microsoft Data Quality Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data quality was a big issue for the business because it received a lot of CSV files from external providers without following any standard or conformity. It also uses a lot of ram space for installations of software and alot of times it does lag when trying to login but if pricing is not a problem for you then I very much recommend this product as with anything from Microsoft, it is great! **Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Data Quality Services:** As always Microsoft is great and keeps getting better and if pricing is a factor , there's the free version without all of the benefits of the paid version of course but for small businesses, free version should be fine and I definitely recommend using Microsoft Data **What problems is Microsoft Data Quality Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** On a daliy basics, our company has been able immediately solve larger transactions through it's script and the intellisense makes writing queries very quick and super efficient. ### 3. Easy to create new Knowledge Base and Data Quality projects. Next to this its preety easy in case of mapping to excel report or data. I can clean the bad data from my excel sheet just by upload the file and customize its cleanup property. Need to map the excel sheet with my knowledge base detail project. It gives proper detail what percent of data corrected and accuracy of the same.
