Easy to work with and great support team assisiting on all issues. Simon is a rockstar when it comes to implimentation and itergration. As a company we use this for all reporting and planning in a high volume service industry. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** Sometimes calcualtions show bugs as updates in the back end were being done or logics changed but was addressed effiencentally by the support team. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has solved bandwidth issues on a short handed team creating the ability to run a finance team smaller than average team sizes for our business size in the service industry. It has allowed us to make faster more accurate bussiness decisions driving increased visability to data. ### 2. The Metapraxis team helped us move our standard reporting and analysis into a visualization tool bringing together data sources from different systems around the organization into one place. We're able to get into the detail and analysis much quicker with our business leads. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** Not much to dislike at all. The team are always there to help. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's really helped us get to the detail and analysis quicker. Reducing time spent producing analysis. It's allowed us to be consistant in the way we analyse our business. A big plus is that we're able to bring in data from different sources. Aligning standard financial reporting with other BI data to provide a full picture. ### 3. Metapraxis is almost a secret sauce for the FP&A/finance team in the know but as a result can be challenging when you involve the rest of the business. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** The majority of our work was manual - removing this has freed resource, improved accuracy and reduced the time to complete core processes. ### 4. The application has streamlined a data consolidation process and made reporting faster, allowing reporting to occur more frequently. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** The initial configuration process ahead of deployment took some time to design and plan, but the application has been able to be adapted to requested changes swiftly since deployment. Getting user buy-in to initiate using the interactive platform has been confined to a core team, but the reporting capabilities with Empower have distributed the application's insights across the business. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metapraxis reduces the time required to get a consolidated view of our data. This means that valuable insights can be derived in less time, and that multiple areas of the business are on the same page. ### 5. The technology is very powerful, but we aren't able to make full use of it as our business processes are somewhat disparate and as a result we don't get full value from our licensing. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metapraxis handle all of the changes to our business model, and their software allows us to maintain both as is and to be views of the business, restating data for use in the original analysis. As we can maintain the various views of the business, it means we can track the changes to the org structure and the financial impact. ### 6. The created analysis generates much insight in a reporting area previously with little to no visibility, and has saved significant time across the team. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** Initially, it took a decent amount of design and thought time to organize and configure the application, given the business's complexities and the process being replaced. However, once implemented, extending the initial application to address and automate additional use cases has been straightforward. Additionally, there is a bit of a barrier to taking ownership of the application with the required knowledge of the software but we have instead leaned on the Metapraxis team for any changes and have been impressed by the speed and continued quality of work, so we have not needed or wanted to take this on. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metapraxis enables enterprise or top-level view of data that would be difficult and time-consuming otherwise, which helps facilitate strategic decisions quickly. Metapraxis also provides an unbiased, automated forecast calculation which has been a helpful comparison for the business. ### 7. Sometimes things like colour scheme, graphics etc could be more modern but this is because they are our own brand guidelines. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Makes running finance reports a 2 click activity. Everyone can use the system (no training needed) and everyone has access which makes it easy to share info. This means we spend less time creating materials for meetings and more time talking about improving performance. ### 8. The ability to meet the exacting reporting requirements that most big businesses have, there really isn’t a better application out there **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** It takes a long time to learn Empower, and even once you are an experienced user there are still features within the software that often don’t work the way you would expect. Understanding how this works is a case of trial and error, which can make the application frustrating to develop in at times. However, once you have learned how to use the feature then it will behave consistently in the future. Software quirks can sometimes be found after a new software release is available, although these are often fixed once they are highlighted to Metapraxis. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** When faced with needing to bring together new businesses, Empower is great at enabling you to be able to create a new P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for the new business. The ability to quickly bring together different data sets, undertake the mapping exercise needed and then be able to report quickly and easily on the new dataset is priceless. Interaction and flexibility to run processes outside of Empower (i.e. use of python and/or excel/etc to process data) is also extremely useful. ### 9. They made our integration process easy, which we didn't expect them to be able to do with all our existing systems! The dashboard is intuitive enough that even someone who isn’t an expert in IT can understand it easily - which means less time wasted on support calls or sending emails back-and forth between departments **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** The possibilities are endless with a tool like Metapraxis, to be able to drive the most value we had to be clear on what would provide most value back to the business. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was impossible for us to deliver the reports quickly because of the large number of inputs. We were able to deliver reports faster, with confidence in the data and adapt outputs ie reports and models much quicker than we could previously using spreadsheets if required by our stakeholders or to respond to business needs. ### 10. Most impressive is the partnership offered by the consultant team - they are extremely responsive with well-thought-out solutions to any challenge that you may encounter. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** We are still scratching the surface of the potential of Empower's impact on our team - We've recently implemented a Demand Forecasting module that is well-received by the commercial org, and I'm looking forward to expanding similar streamlined workflows as well as continuing to enhance our existing modules with Empower's capabilities. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** MPX & Empower has been an impactful way to bridge our team's focus from non-value add work to more partnership and forward-looking analysis. Its technology platform & implementation team streamlined our close reporting and annual plan processes. Their team is very experienced and always ready to help. Their powerful Empower software has taken our reporting capabilities to the next level. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** The strength of Metapraxis' Empower software is due to its highly customizable nature. With that said, that highly customizable nature also makes it a little challenging to make changes, especially any drastic ones. We have been able to implement many changes without having to use Metapraxis consultants but if we did, we were always glad to be working with them as we leveraged their experience. The Empowered Community is also another great tool to get support on less immediate issues. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metapraxis Empower software has solved the last leg of our accounting reporting needs. We have benefitted from a much more efficient and reliable process where we can see the big picture as we are closing the books. ### 12. The implementation team are great and helped provide huge amounts of insight to really drive the effectiveness of the solution. **What do you dislike about Metapraxis?** There is fair bit of effort required upfront to configure the solution, but the Metapraxis team are great at working through this process efficiently and effectively to begin providing value as quickly as possible. **What problems is Metapraxis solving and how is that benefiting you?** Metapraxis has helped transformed our planning processes away from labour-intensive and error-prone spreadsheets. We've been able to move to a more automated process with greater controls so that the team can spend more time delivering value, rather than battling with manual processes. ### 13.
