**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

I learned quite a powerful lesson with Memberspace. 

I had been fighting with Wix, fighting with useless Velo devs, and generally having no luck at implementing a simple one-step user journey checkout for a web-based membership business. The sunk-cost loss of time and technical debt was getting to be unbearable. 

I had Memberspace installed and running within an hour. Had tweaked to look good, and with the functionality I needed within a day or so. 

I should have used this route from the start, and that's on me. 

Yes, it costs extra. The team have been excellent, and I am hopeful that the business will prove successful and make this the best decision I have made on it.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

So far, I remain very positive. I might like to see some API connectivity with mailing software, for example. 

For now, I can live with this.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As said, Memberspace was a plug-and-play drop in solution to Wix's appallingly bad checkout design. 

So far everything seems customiseable (enough), and can be easily changed and modified. It's the right amount of interface, not too much, not too little.

I've been using MemberSpace for three years now and anytime I've had a question or issue or needed more information, their customer service team has always been prompt to respond and help. It relieves so much stress knowing I can access this level of support during my day.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

There are a few updates that have been implemented over the years that do not benefit my team and actually add work to my plate. They are aware of these issues and are working to update them on their end.

MemberSpace allows us to seamlessly run our association in tandem with Stripe.

MemberSpace is a great tool in general, but the customer service really stands out as top-notch. Very friendly and very responsive. We will absolutely recommend this service to our clients and friends.

The invitation and sign up system seems a little clunky, but it's still very usable. Would like a little more customization of the workflows.

MemberSpace is simple to use, just customizable enough, and works consistently without me needing to worry. The tech is consistent and doesn't fail. I can rely on it for my business. The customer service is incredibly helpful and personable. It was easy to set up initially — and have been able to integrate it into the other tools we use. My team and I use it every day without issue.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

MemberSpace is a bit limited on features — but what it does, it does well. My use case is slightly outside of the intended use case, and a few times they've made product changes that frustrated me. Though they were receptive to feedback.

MemberSpace is how we manage our customer payments and subscriptions.

The customer support a second to none, coupled with the ease of use of the software and how well it integrates, this is been one of my best experiences with a SaaS offering.

Nothing, they are wonderful! The only thing I can ask more for is slightly better reporting but even now it's great.

I am using Memberspace for 2 years now and I am very happy with the service. Everything is simple, my members are happy with the set-up and the Memberspace team always answer super fast to my questions.

Not all the copy is translatable right now (my membership website is in French) but I know that they are working on it.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

I came across MemberSpace while on a search for a way to portal a company domain, so my end-users have a space to communicate and manage their documents/projects with me...a customer portal. While MemberSpace is geared a bit more for subscription-based projects, the ability to set up free accounts was just what I needed at the time. Honestly, what sold me was the proactive customer service that is in the US, and a group of hardworking individuals that just want to help their customers however they can. If you are the type that has checked out/tested endless SAAS models, I'm sure you have concluded that this is a big advantage to the success of the product. 

I highly recommend these guys!!

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

The only dislike is it geared a bit more for subscription models, BUT AGAIN, the functionality can easily produce a free model, and used for just about anything. This doesn't take any additional knowledge or effort.

It allows me to create a customer portal for my company, using the free membership model.

The speed at which we could get our websites up and running, and engage with the community we are building!! Also, the customer service team are super prompt and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

Limited features across the 'member messages' functionality. Our community of members is reading our member messages, we are seeing impact, and now it's time to take things up a notch, ideally, we'll uplift the look and feel to align with our brand. Patiently awaiting an upgrade to the look and feel optimisation features of member messages.

It's helping us raise awareness about our proposition and test what is / is not resonating with our community. As a result, we are pivoting our offerings and tailoring to our audiences to better support them and add value.

Memberspace is a phenomenal resource & The support team is super Helpful. I was actually stunned at how quickly support reached back out to me.  I am not techy at all, so I really appreciated the patience Chelsea had in helping me understand how things were set up and guiding me through the setup. Great company - Great team!

I don't have any dislikes or disappointments. Evverything has been running smoothly for me.

Nice Online software that can sell classes

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

Memberspace continues to raise the transaction fee. It's increased from 1% to 4%, to a NOW A 5% TRANSACTION FEE on top of Stripe's fee. Ridiculous. So glad Squarespace Courses came out with a 0% transaction fee plan. I've been looking for alternatives to Memberspace's transaction fees and thank goodess Squarespace Courses listens to member feedback. Every since I've switched to Squarespace Courses, everything has been so much better. 

The funniest part is, Memberspace disses substack for having transaction fees by saying this on their website: "Substack often touts the fact that there’s no cost to join. Instead of a monthly subscription fee, users forfeit 10% of every subscriber payment (plus credit card processing fees). This pricing model can undoubtedly make sense for users with small email lists. If you’re planning to grow your subscriber base, though, it becomes expensive — fast. There’s no cap to that 10% fee that Substack takes from each paid subscriber." 

...When they do they same thing with their transaction fees. Ha! 

So glad Squarespace Courses listens to member feedback and constantly makes updates and improvements for longevity. 

I'm excited that more software companies are listening to feedback regarding expensive transaction fees and creating options without them. It's the princple of the matter.

MemberSpace is an easy-to-use, secure platform that we were able to integrate with our existing web site. Over the course of the last four years, we haven't had one problem. The best part of MemberSpace is their customer support. Great response times. They always provide solutions and/or answers.

Honestly, I can't think of one negative thing to say.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

Once you set everything up, you don't have to worry about it too much. I also really like that I can use it with Monday.com via Zapier so that I can keep track of memberships. As well, I use the Community Box integration for listing and mapping our members. However, I've been particularly happy with the support that I'm getting. Chelsea has been really helpful and easy to work with!

It was a little bit difficult to set it up. I remember having to reach out to support a number of times, but now I can't even imagine what the issue was because it seems like this is a fairly easy platform to work with.

I can't imagine any other way for us to implement our membership system. I did a lot of research and this seemed like the best fit and I can't imagine using anything else.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

Following the simple and clear documentation it look me about 5 mins to integrate memberspace into our Squarespace site.  During the next steps Jen in customer support has been simply amazing in terms of the responsiveness and helpfulness.  The experience couldn't be more different to our previous membership platform (LoveAdmin).  I'm very impressed so far and I think Jen will help me through the few remaining teething issues.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

In general, the system is very powerful and easy to use, but there are a couple of admin feature-lettes which are missing and would be helpful  - but no show-stoppers so far.  Eg.  viewing members in a sortable grid would be good but the workaround of export to excel is very simple (ne click)

Very easy to sign up members, take payment and protect member only areas of the website

Great customer support - always friendly, patient and fast. Especially Chelsea Park!
Fair customer policies and procedures, for example not charging pre-launch. Easy integration into Duda website builder.  Mostly intuitive user-interface for admin, personalization and user touchpoints. Affordable scalability.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

In order of my business priorities and what I would presume is important for others:

1. Cannot adjust concurrent usage limits by plan - only for entire site. Please please please! I would pay your developers what I can afford to make this possible! I desperately need this. In my small brain, it seems like a simple, high-value feature considering that the functionality exists already for the entire site. 

2. No alternative payment options (e.g. PayPal)
3. Can't create paid accounts with 100% promo without requiring credit card data.
4. Multilingual capabilities.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Low-code paywall on a Duda website that enables revenue-generation through subscription, free, one-time payment options, promo codes and a user-friendly interface. Best value: price does not increase with user scale, but rather commission-based fees to support scalability.

It makes it easy to host a class on my website, protect the page and sell classes.  Also, I love the way that if one of my students forgets their password, MemberSpace will automatically send them a password reset.  This saves me from having to monitor emails or the headache of trying to reset passwords for my students.

Memberspace offers a simple platform for non-Techy people like myself to sell products and services on their website. I started with Memberspace in 2017 and appreciate their user-friendly approach and the support their team provides when I have questions.

 Over the years I have learned tips and tricks on how to be most effective and efficient. I'm happy to answer any question if you're an  "entrepreneurs in the making" considering the platform.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

There are a couple of features that are a little bit less user-friendly however I have learned how to navigate those features. as with any business, there are costs, of course. However, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck with Memberspace.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My small team and I sell video courses and book courses to teachers, counselors, and social workers, who work in school settings. Memberspace has allowed us to offer those products in a seamless way, so that educators can access our services in a very user-friendly manner and were able to organize the materials fairly simply to help schools around the country.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

MemberSpace is an excellent tool for designers looking to add member website design to their services, but also easy enough for their clients to use post-project. The dashboard is laid out so that everything is at a glance; you have nothing to "go searching for" like some similar services. The way members can access your content and update their account information is a life-save for the admin and simple.

Lastly, I have to say nothing but kind words about MemberSpace's support team. My most recent member website project for a client had many moving parts. While their team is small, they were able to answer all questions I had as well as go above and beyond! I was in contact with one team member, specifically during most of my project, Chelsea, whose support was incredible. Every question was answered, and the support felt entirely 1:1.

I highly recommend MemberSpace's platform, team and business as a whole!

I haven't found many things I dislike about MemberSpace. There are some functions that I hope they roll out in the future, but for basics, their platform is a great solution.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a designer with clients who wish to implement membership to their audience on their website versus through a third-party platform. MemberSpace integrates with lots of different website platforms and has been simple and effective in its job. From adding locked content to member management to customizing how users interact with the MemberSpace pieces on their website and custom emails, their services tick many boxes.

The Customer Service is fantastic. I've emailed questions several times and have received helpful replies every time. It was easy to set up, and it has handled most everything I've needed as my business has scaled in size.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

I wish they'd make improvements to the report features. For example, I can pull a report of all of my members and the number of times they've viewed member pages over all time, but I can't see who has viewed a member page recently vs. several years ago. I'd like to have a better idea of useage based on recent views and not over their entire time as a user. I've requested this update, and am hopeful that this improvement is still in the works.

Memberspace is simple and just works with my Squarespace membership website.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

I can usually find a way to do what I want to do with the platform. That said, I wish there was a way to create unique automated emails based on which plan a member is on. At the moment every member gets the same email, regardless of what plan they are on. With the exception of the welcome email.

I also wish there was a way to restrict content when a member is on trial (without dripping). This would help me prevent against content scrapers.

They solve the paywall problem for me. I also really like how they follow up with abandoned signups.

The customer service response time. Quick and friendly help at hand when I'm confused or lost on a specific query that I can't find in the FAQs.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

There are some limitations on the plans (i.e. I wanted to delay the billing start date), and some clearer details for customers using coupons would be great.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wanted to set up a subscription payment system which didn't seem easy / friendly / smooth with other platforms. It also doesn't take a monthly fee, just a % which suits my small business much better, and lower risk which is everything at this stage.

The only issue is the pricing for the professional plan. Currently working around the lack of features I don't have ATM because it's too expensive to upgrade to get them. If this was a lot cheaper, I would have signed up for it already

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

There are two very helpful things about MemberSpace: it's highly customizable, and the responsiveness *and* helpfulness of the customer support is terrific. From what I can tell, my website would not have existed without Memberspace.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

The only downside of Memberspace that I've experienced is that I use it on Squarespace, and Squarespace newly has a native feature that seemingly allows you to accomplish much of the same. I'm not using it because I don't want to require my users to migrate their accounts from a Memberspace to Squarespace account, and I don't know whether Squarespace's option is as customizable as Memberspace's, but if it weren't for account migration, I would explore the native features on Squarespace. I also reeeeeeeally wish that my analytics exports would show engagement in particular timeframes, not just cumulative/aggregate engagement. I want to be able to tell it to export a report showing how many member pages my users viewed in the last week, not just how many they've viewed across all time. I can't do cohort analysis without that.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team has a very small budget for web development. We couldn't have developed a custom solution for integrating user accounts into a website, so Memberspace's ability to work with Squarespace helped us do something essential that we couldn't have done before. Idk whether that's true anymore because of Squarespace's Member Areas feature - I consistently wonder whether we could migrate to that so that we have everything on a single platform, but that's a lot of work and I also don't know whether Squarespace can do all that Memberspace can, so it hasn't been worth it.

Memberspace integrates really easily with Squrespace. Super easy to impelment with my website (on Squarespace) and their Customer Support was great!  I've only had to use it twice, but both times it was super helpful.

Some of the automated messages aren't working well for me.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

Memberspace makes hosting a members only website very easy. Implementation is seamless, their UI requires little to no developer knowledge, and their customer support is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

If you're using Memberspace to protect multiple websites, navigating between them as a backend user is a minor hassle.

**What problems is MemberSpace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using their system to protect two seperate and relatively large websites for several years. Our Membership tiers are complex, offering a combination of resources to varied customer profiles, and the flexibility offered in Memberspace is the only reason we've been able to manage it. It's as simple as creating a memberhship tier, setting a price point, and selecting the page/pages that this tier will be enabled to access. The payment system integrates seamlessly with Stripe. If you're trying to get a paid subscription site off the ground, look no further.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

Its reliability. We use it in UK schools to provide MP4s song resources. We have never had one complaint from a school. The link with Vimeo works seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

We would like the export facility to be improved to include name, email, account creation date, # of logins, # of member page views, # of content link views, and the # of content link downloads.

Getting the right data is vital for our charity's future. Memberspace always looks at ways to improve this. We appreciate their willingness to develop data analysis as much as possible

We were thrilled to get off of clunky Thinkfic and host our courses on our own website using Memberspace. Customer service is excellent, they are rolling out new features in response to community need, and customers have a great experience.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

Memberspace is adding new features often, and I look forward to some more integrations around customer emailing (like scheduling emails!). The interface is user-friendly but could be better if I could organize it.

Protecting pages on our website to create "courses" that have timed access. We can email course participants and manage their subscriptions.

I love that I can customize online programs and have a one-stop hub for paywalls through memberspace.  I also am so excited about the addition of the email integration YAY MEMBERSPACE!

I wish we could have multiple payment options within one plan instead of offering 2.  It would be more convenient for members.

It's offering me a less expensive, simpler way to run both membership programs, courses and paywalls to materials for my site.

We moved from another membership platform and Memberspace is a breath of fresh air - it's so well laid out, everything is easy to find. I love being able to group our plans together into folders. The customer service is excellent too, they are always quick to repond and very helpful.

I can't really think of anything - it does everything we need it to.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

I've been really impressed with the speed of commuincation when I reach out for help. Overall it's a really good value product compared to others on the market if you take price into account. It seems to do 95% of what premium platforms do, but you're paying half the price.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

I'm still reletively new, so I could be mistaken, but some options can only be applied to all plans. For example, I want a compulsory field applied to some new sign-ups, but not others, but I can't do that. I can apply it plan-by-plan post sign up, but it's not compulsory.

It's putting a payment gateway on selected areas of my site.

I love how easy it was to get strated, and easy to integrate and install on my website, and how easy it is for my customers to do. Customer support always gets back to us very quickly as well. 

I use Memberspace everyday to manage our memberships. 

I also LOVE how it captures leads!

I would love the ability to customize cancellation emails based on plans.

I'm so grateful for how easy MemberSpace is! I've tried implementing two other membership tools and had to scrap both because they didn't have the features I needed or were hard to use.  So many of the features are customizable and don't require coding skills. And the support team is responsive and helpful!

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

So far, there isn't anything that I dislike about MembersSpace.

I am creating free, gated content on my company's website with enough controls to allow me to control who has access. The content we are rolling out is going to help us equip nonprofits to raise more money through our program.

Aside from being a super easy-to-use platform, the support team are incredibly responsive. I don't think I have ever waited longer than 10 minutes for a reply. There is always a way to get help and an answer when you need it. You can look through the help documents, send an email to the help desk, or go to a live session.

It's brilliant, but if I could, I  would love a single sign-on solution.

I would say MemberSpace is good enough for me, in terms of the features they are providing. However, It would be great to see some improvement on the UIUX design of their website.

Reasonably easy to use.  Works well with payment gateway Stripe.

Being located in Australia we have to wait 12-24 hours for customer service to solve issues.  If the problem is urgent, this can be a problem for us/members, especially when there was an upgrade, and we lost our data for more than a day waiting for a response.

Memberspace is making joining our industry easier by offering a reasonable membership gateway to users.   Saving us time.

**What do you like best about MemberSpace?**

Memberspace works very well with my squarespace site. I love that it has different membership levels and that it protects the content. They also have a great login and member many system. Coming from a system on Wordpress that updated and broke often this is a lot more intuitive. But best of all was all the documentation and customer support. It is very well done. The staff is super nice, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful, and smart!

I have not found any issues yet. Everything is working well.

I've had an excellent experience for far. I only wish there were membership tiers at different price points. But other than that, very happy with it.

You can use it with a whole bunch of different platforms, pretty much everything is customizable, the pricing is super reasonable, and the customer service is through the roof.

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

Others might be a *little* slicker design-wise, but Memberspace's design isn't bad by any stretch, and it's never been an issue.

It just makes it so so easy to create membership products without any advanced coding knowledge. If I wanted to create similar products without Memberspace, it would cost tens of thousands of dollars.

This program is easy to integrate into my square space site, but the best feature by far is unlimited membership plans of different structures - recurring, split payment, single payment and free!

**What do you dislike about MemberSpace?**

The analytics are clunky
- have to use external program to track new recurring subscriptions per month (that doesn't work for other plan types)
-needs a date filter on plan sign ups
- alternatively needs an automatic email that summarises each new plan sign up per month

It really is that easy!
