What do you like best about Melissa Global Address Verification?

We use Melissa on-prem solutions because speed is super important for us. We reviewed other leading address standardization services and Melissa beat them hands-down. Melissa in-network respnse times are in the single digit milliseconds consistently. Their api is easy to work with. We get a lot of actionable information about addresses, phones, and emails. What do you dislike about Melissa Global Address Verification?

Only one quibble: lack of a test database. We regression test every code change, multiple times a day. It would be great to have a mini-sized db to test the interface against instead of having to download and image the entire multi-gigabyte database for every test run. What do you like best about Melissa Global Address Verification?

I like that Melissa Global Address Verification uses USPS certified addresses and does not rely on interpolated addresses. The on-premise installation of Address Object and GeoCoder is very convenient for fast processing of addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Melissa Global Address Verification?

Account management and commercial friction with significant price increases of 50% or more on renewals without real new product value. Support from Melissa is terrible. We've pushed for clearer SLAs on support requests and resolution times, but the average resolution time has increased, with some address geocoding inconsistencies taking over 3 months to fix. The Melissa support portal is cumbersome, adding more manual steps on our part. Overall, while the product itself works great, working with Melissa as a partner is less than stellar. Also, the documentation for setting up the on-premise product is not very helpful, requiring additional research and experimentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
