"Fast, Reliable File Sharing with Easy Access to an Approved Asset Library"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

We can share large files externally and give our external contacts easy access. The speed and ease of having all files in one place is a real benefit - you can view everything and only download what you need. As a cloud-based platform, MediaValet means our entire asset library is accessible from on any device, which is invaluable when managing campaigns across external partners and interbal teams. We also have confidence that everything in the system is approved, which means we dont have to factor in approvals to our workflow and allows us to action external requests in a quickly. Over the course of a campaign, I can add to collections so everything is one spot. Over the last 3 year of using collections, have never had any external contacts experience access issues. What do you dislike about MediaValet?

You can view and download assets but you can't edit or annotate directly in the Mediavalet. Good to be able to tag via email on certain post, rather than reply on email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Secure, Seamless Media Library That Keeps Our Marketing Team Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

Honestly, it's really given our Marketing team a valid and secure base to store our media material. We're able to label each item - and groups of items - together. And when we need to find certain material, that process is equally as seamless and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

At first, it was slightly difficult to get started uploading and using all the functions allowed. At this point, it's a well-oiled machine and I really can't think of a dislike about the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Seamless Access to High-Quality Images for Presentations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I find the ability to access relevant photographs for presentations and promotional materials really easy to navigate and helpful to know I am engaging in materials relevant to what I need. Knowing what I need is all in one place makes it much quicker to finalise what I am working on, and adds depth and a level of engagement to PowerPoints. MediaValet works seamlessly with the platforms I use, is intuitive and straightforward, and maintains high quality images that work really effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I have generally had to work out how to move around and navigate it myself without much information on how it works, but this might be more an issue at a local level than the onboarding support delivered by MediaValet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy asset uploading, smart organisation, and shareable links that save time"
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

The ability to upload assets once while being able to then locate those assets in different folders/categories. Being able to then create shareable links to colleagues and/or clients (including link expiration dates) is incredibly beneficial.

The integration that MediaValet has with Adobe products (such as InDesign) is an efficiency gain as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

Depending on how many categories you assign to an image, or how many levels of category you create in your site structure, the 50 category/folder limit can be difficult to manage when creating user access types.

The AI tag suggestions are good for basic photographs, but you do need to watch some of the generated tags when you are dealing with different ethnicities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MediaValet: Integrate and specify your digital assets with an added personal touch for comfort."
4.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I don't think we have found all our likes about MediaValet as of yet. Speed is big for me, but the variety of ways to categorize metadata are invaluable when it comes time for a deep search (of your own material). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

It's a lot. There are so many ways to do things. So many things we have not touched on yet, like related assets and ratings. I need to learn more to find what I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Resource Sharing but Needs Better Customization"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I like the portal concepts in MediaValet. I believe it creates a clean and easy way to share groups of information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I think it would be helpful if I could create maybe a link tree within MediaValet. I also thought the permissions were a bit challenging to get sorted out at first to make sure I had the necessary access to creating the portal and uploading the media. In terms of ease of use, it was moderately easy to set up, but it took some time for us to figure out the use case and access. When creating portals, I wish I could have a little bit more fluidity or be able to change it visually while maintaining the portal element. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Repository, But Collaboration Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I find MediaValet useful for asset storage and sharing with some collaboration. I like that it has a larger repository size that is outside of our closed system, making it sharable with outside collaborators. We are able to use it to hold a great deal of collateral, and I appreciate the organized file folders that are easily recognizable. The initial setup was fairly easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

When collaborating, files have to be "downloaded" and then re "uploaded" - this allows for two people who are working simultaneously to overwrite the others work by accident. We work around it by telling collaborators when the coast is clear and when not to touch a document but it isn't ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Upload Delays"
5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I like the ease of use with MediaValet. It's fairly simple and the method of dividing everything into parent, children categories is really handy. It's easy to find what you put in there, and I also like the large amount of storage available. The setup was straightforward and not complicated at all, making it very easy to understand and use, even for someone who has never used a platform like this before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

I will say the time it takes to upload certain things if something is past one gigabyte, it becomes very tedious to upload. It takes a long, long time where you can't even let your device idle because then the upload will fail. So that's pretty annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced Image Search that’s intuitive, reliable, and accurate"
4/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

I like best the advanced image search feature, it's very intuitive, reliable, easy to find, and as an AI-powered tool is very accurate at serving me the images I need. This function saves me between 5-15 minutes time searching through sub-folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

The UI feels a bit outdated compared to other DAM tools I've used recently. Also, it lacks a dedicated mobile app for when I'm working on site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MediaValet - An Asset Organizing Dream"
5/5
What do you like best about MediaValet?

MediaValet made searching through our thousands of media assets simple and drastically improved the organization of our media library to make things more intuitive and findable. There were many integrations that make the site run even smoother with your existing applications, including Adobe and Microsoft 365. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MediaValet?

It's not necessarily about MediaValet itself, but the DAM industry is high in cost and makes it tough to justify throughout the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
