The training process was really easy and the team pick up all the process really easy. **What do you dislike about MediaBank?** When a lot of content is on the platform it can be messy and confusing. A lot of files in the homepage, I think having more workspaces will help a lot. Also when a lot of users are using mediabank at the same time the ingest and delivery process can be slow. **Recommendations to others considering MediaBank:** Fill more metadata and info as you can, this will help to save time on the search process. Also try to choose the media to ingest instead to upload everything in the system as it can be messy and confusing and it could slow your search and editing process. **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helped to speed the ingest process of the content. Also the content management part was really good and the preset search was really appreciate by everyone. ### 2. Their in house staff used the the low resolution images so when the file came to me, the printer, I had to find the high resolution images. Mediabank helped in finding and accessing files quickly while organizing and housing multiple images ### 3. Everything from event upload through IO approval. **What do you dislike about MediaBank?** It's a mess! Many of the screens were not updated and still run on the old interface (all typing, no buttons). Many screens load slowly. Orders can only be sent one at a time and require a ridiculous amount of input for each order. The contact management is also complicated and can only view/edit/add one at a time. **Recommendations to others considering MediaBank:** not great for large account that need to send out many orders or manage many client contacts **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** I send out orders with it and track acceptance and billing. ### 4. This way you can tag content for faster searching on terms your users will be entering. You can also organize content by persona that lead this software to do more than what you would expect of typical DAM software. MediaBank can be integrated with other technology processes to create media versions as needed be a data source to update resource availability on websites or apps. **What do you dislike about MediaBank?** Depending on the organizational structure that has been set up for the company using MediaBank, using the standalone software is cumbersome while trying to navigate through. You will have several windows open as you navigate through and attempt to search areas with trial and error to use the features and customization in place. Be sure to have internal processes in place to guide users through naming resources adequately and consistently. **Recommendations to others considering MediaBank:** Be sure to research other digital asset management software such as Widen **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** Large assets need a central repository for access and management for teams. This software suits that if you have the patients to learn the workflow and put in the forethought to organize your content for efficient management. Using MediaBank has helped us limit the asset redundancy found in teams that use alternatives. We have saved time by allowing internal users to search for existing media before attempting to re-upload resources. ### 5. Perhaps some more user-friendly errors or messages could be shown to the user when he/she sees part of the service down. **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to, and have succeeded in, having high availability for media needed for our business (used in building websites). ### 8. In regards to billing information we are unable to see this from our end so there are a lot of hoops to jump through to find out small pieces of information that should be easy to find. The program can be restrictive when you're trying to multi-task. **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** Implementing and adjusting buys. Communications with the end-user/buyer seems to be efficient, sometimes even before we're able to update them. ### 9. There are tutorials available as well that make it easier to navigate. **What do you dislike about MediaBank?** Sometimes it does seem overly complicated. Error prone when needing to adjust placements/$$ during campaign run. Made it difficult to turnover MBOX deliverables quickly. **Recommendations to others considering MediaBank:** Make sure you install placements as individually as possible as trying to edit after campaign kick-off in groups (individually) is difficult and cumbersome. **What problems is MediaBank solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving finance/media buying objectives.
