It also has built in templates for charting which can be useful for new scribes that are unfamiliar with certain medical terms/anatomical locations. **What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?** There is too much clicking involved in the process of doing a chart. The HPI portion is also not dictation compatible. **Recommendations to others considering MEDHOST EDIS:** Do not use Medhost. It is outdated, and takes up too much time with charting. Find something with dictation. **What problems is MEDHOST EDIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It prompts physicians for questions that are necessary for higher coding and therefore higher billing. ### 12. The ability to customize Ordersets is also great. **What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?** Size configuration of the screen. When utilizing the application from a desktop it will not fill the whole screen. **Recommendations to others considering MEDHOST EDIS:** Great application for Emergency Department. It is designed specifically with the ED in mind. **What problems is MEDHOST EDIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Medhost EDIS for our emergency department EMR and billing. Billing is built in to the charting allowing for less after closing (the chart) additions to the billing portion. ### 13. I used it in ER setting - between 2008 & 2015. This program is by far the most user friendly product I have ever used as well. I highly recommend this system. **What do you dislike about MEDHOST EDIS?** In all honesty there is nothing I disliked about Medhost during the time I used the system. **Recommendations to others considering MEDHOST EDIS:** Try it, very easy system to use. At first many RN's in our department were hesitant to learn it.
