Med-Calc Medicare Cost Report Software Reviews & Product Details

Med-Calc is CMS-approved Medicare cost report software from Progressive Provider Services, which has prepared cost reports since 1992. It runs in Microsoft Excel with nothing to install and covers skilled nursing (CMS-2540-24), home health (CMS-1728-20), hospice (CMS-1984-14) and home office cost statements (CMS-287-22), including low and no utilization reports. Med-Calc imports the trial balance, prior-year ECR files and, for SNF and home health, the PS&R; it checks the CMS edits as you work and creates the ECR file for filing through MCReF. Support comes from the same team that writes the software and prepares more than 500 cost reports a year.
