It works well and is well-maintained. It also comes with an API to support integration with other platforms. The community is helpful when there are problems or questions. **What do you dislike about Mautic?** You need access to a technical administrator to get everything set up properly, which is normal for a complete email solution like this. It can also take some time for bugs to get fixed as development relies on the open-source community. But, frankly, I've had the same issue with paid solutions. **What problems is Mautic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mautic provides a scalable marketing automation platform without the huge costs. Most platforms charge based on number of contacts or number of email sends and get very pricey very quickly. Mautic gives marketing teams access to the tools needed to manage sophisticated campaigns for only the cost of technology. ### 6. You can create email marketing campaigns by making action decisions based on the selected criteria, you can classify contacts, you can integrate it with other tools to make it more powerful, you can even turn it into a CRM, it's fantastic. **What do you dislike about Mautic?** There are still some things that could be improved, such as being able to manage contacts and products. In addition to the contact and company data types, I think there could be another type that is product, and that way we could cross all types of data. **What problems is Mautic solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has helped me to classify contacts and based on that, create more personalized marketing impacts for each one. ### 9. I have been using Mautic for almost four years and always have been happy with it. **What do you dislike about Mautic?** One thing which definitely needs to be improved upon is the update process and the backend changes that happen during the update you need to have intermediate PHP skills to be able to manage the instance, as multiple problems occur from time to time. **What problems is Mautic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Anyone can get started with their email automation solution with absolutely no cost and all the common features that are required in day-to-day email marketing automation. ### 10. Because of it's open source code we can fully integrate it to every system we and our clients work with. **What do you dislike about Mautic?** Some features seem and feel complicated for a non-coding user/marketer (Formbuilder or Focus Items) . But the functionality is simply amazing. If you know a little bit about webdesign you can do whatever you like. That's outperforms actually everything :) **What problems is Mautic solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Mautic you can send millions of emails/sms/push messages, connect them in campaigns and to each other with a fraction of the cost, compared to other automation systems out there. If you don't want to spend a fortune on your Marketing-Automation Platform, and if you have a medium to large contact-list, Mautic is for you. ### 11. You can choose exactly how your email is delivered for complete control of cost and deliverability. The community is thriving and growing and the project gets regular updates. The software itself is really powerful, with a more complete feature set than many of the commercial products out there. **What do you dislike about Mautic?** Bugs happen with most updates, but they are usually patched in the next minor release. The user interface is a little inconsistent and sometimes hard to follow for non-developer types. That said, we have trained quite a few non-technical folks to use Mautic effectively. **What problems is Mautic solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mautic serves as a marketing automation platform. As an agency, we offer Mautic hosting to our clients allowing them to invest in services instead of licensing fees. ### 12. Those days many ESPs (email service provides) - who started with newsletter marketing - claim to offer Marketing Automation. However, without forms and landing pages thats not complete. It provides a wide range of modules, advanced user segmentation, multi channel outreach (emails, sms, push, onsite pop-ups), an excellent campaign builder (customer journey) and full ownership of your own data.
