"GCP Review"
What do you like best about Managed Microsoft AD?

Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory offers a fully managed solution, handling installation, configuration, patching, and monitoring. It seamlessly integrates with other Google Cloud services, allowing you to leverage Active Directory identities and authentication across cloud-based applications. The service prioritizes security and compliance, providing secure communication channels, data protection, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA. It ensures high availability and scalability, even under heavy loads or hardware failures. You can sync directories with on-premises Active Directory and establish trusts with other forests. Additionally, it enables running Active Directory-dependent applications in the cloud, simplifying deployment and reducing infrastructure costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Managed Microsoft AD?

While Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory offers several advantages, it's important to consider potential disadvantages as well. One potential drawback is the reliance on a third-party provider for managing your Active Directory infrastructure. This means that you may have limited control over certain aspects of the service, such as customization options or specific configurations that are outside the scope of the managed service. Additionally, depending on your specific requirements, the pricing for the managed service may be higher compared to managing your own Active Directory infrastructure. It's important to carefully evaluate your organization's needs and consider the trade-offs before deciding to use a managed service for Microsoft Active Directory. "Seamless Integration and Reliable Management with Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft"
What do you like best about Managed Microsoft AD?

One of the standout features of this service is the effortless integration process. Setting up the Microsoft Active Directory environment within the Google Cloud Platform was a breeze. The well-documented guides and intuitive interface made the configuration smooth and hassle-free. Within a short span of time, our organization's Active Directory was up and running, seamlessly integrated with the Google Cloud infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Managed Microsoft AD?

The one drawback I noticed was the limited flexibility in customization options. While the service provides a solid foundation for managing Microsoft Active Directory within the Google Cloud platform, I found that certain customization options were restricted or not easily configurable. This limitation might be a concern for organizations with specific requirements or complex Active Directory configurations that require more flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory"
What do you like best about Managed Microsoft AD?

I like best the flexibility Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft AD provides you in that you can connect Managed Service for Microsoft AD to an existing on-premises domain or run it as a standalone domain. Since MS AD is a a fully managed Active Directory software as a service on the Google Cloud Platform, it reduces the administrative overhead of running the service myself. What do you dislike about Managed Microsoft AD?

Google Cloud Managed Service for Microsoft AD has room for improvement with its monitoring and alerts. You don't have much control over the configuration of the alerts since you have to use the default alerts. Also, it only provides alerts for certain activities, and those alerts can't be customized. The monitoring is not very helpful either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
