You can try the same by exporting backlinks from SemRUSH and notice the difference in numbers. But the same thing can be said about SemRUSH as it also misses out on certain links that are fetched by majestic. Also, I would like to be able to have a running project stored for my account for a particular site which can help me keep track of that website with ease rather than entering the website every time. One of the most important benefits it offers is to check out the sites you are linking to, whether those sites are adding value to your site or it if is just a junk sites with inflated backlinks. You can check the trust-citation flows and their link graphs. The link graph is the best thing about Majestic which makes it very easy to see the backlink state of any website. This can help you not only for your existing backlinks but also to checkout sites you are planning to reach out to. I regularly use this tool to analyze my competitor, keep track of their backlinks, check for any gaps in our backlinks. This ensures you are not missing out on any opportunities your competitor is taking advantage of. Whether it's trust, size or relevance - Majestic has a score to show you how strong this area of your backlink profile is. I love how easy it is to navigate their website despite how large it is and the number of tools on there. I will admit that I am prone to using it the same way often (the same few tools) and every so often I discover another wonderful feature but I never feel overwhelmed or lost on the website as it's well organised. Sometimes you have to manually search for a metric domain by domain at a time rather than pulling it all in the bulk backlink checker (up to 400 backlinks) like you can for say Trust Flow and Citation Flow. Sometimes when you look for new backlinks it displays some as recently "first indexed" and then when you click on it the page was created years before the first indexed date Majestic shows. It helps us look at the strength and value a backlink holds. Many people fall into the trap of looking at the total number of backlinks which effectively isn't important anymore. Majestic helps to prove this as they provide you with the information with what is a strong backlink and what is not by providing their own metrics such as Citation Flow and Trust Flow. They also are brilliant at educating on this top over on their blog and YouTube channel. I have watched many of these and forwarded on many a blog. I also enjoy their podcast.
